If that's a euphemism then the former.
  2. Aye, wouldn't even give up his seat for an old woman I hear.

Be a Paki or a Jew?
  5. Depends on the contract, if yous all signed up together on the one contract then you are all equally liable if my memory serves me correctly.
  6. I've never actually realised that before, I usually have the odds shown in fractional form but they were in decimal this time. Just as well I'm not a big gambler then.
  7. I hate this over dramatic shite, yes it wasn't nice but this whole acting as if it has scarred the silly fuck for life craic is taking the piss.

True, but then again we dont know what we may experience after death do we? Such as?
  9. Perhaps he would've been given more of a chance if he had've started doing his job last summer instead of "scouring Europe" yet buying nobody. What's more worrying than the talk of Eriksson is the chance that Pardew could be our next manager.
  10. My Wii is arriving today so that's pretty much the rest of my day sorted.
  11. How fucking unimpressed does that cat look?

  14. Well he's no Beckham like but he has improved.
  15. The same can be said about the rest of the squad under the current management, there's not much good to be said about O'Leary but Milner came back from Villa a much improved player. Bit more confident after having played a bit more and done quite well. Wouldn't say he's 'much improved'. I think he shone in a poor side at Villa and he's done the same here this season. Canny player with a great attitude and you do get 'end product' from him. Don't get me wrong - I quite like him - but he's pretty limited imo. That's why I think it could be said he is 'much improved' his crossing and end product increased greatly at Villa compared to how he was before the move although as you said this can be partly attributed to playing regularly but obviously the coaching he received there must have had an effect on his game.
  16. I could get drugs easy enough here, guns are a bit harder to come by these days than used to be the case. When I was in Manchester I could have got both easily enough.

I'm currently trying to calculate analysis ratios for Morrison's last three annual reports and if it's anywhere near as tedious as the accountancy work you do I have a new found understanding of why you shirk so much. Oh and no lunch for me, no fucking time for it today.

  19. Aye to think The Sun newspaper and half of England didn't want to let him back in the country after the World Cup.. He plays nice football (when he's not trying his gamesmanship out) and largely always has..... but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see him with both legs folded backwards around his head though , nor does it excuse his other antics.
  20. 6 months into his managerial career and he is getting linked with a premiership side..madness Especially following a run of shite form and talk of dressing room unrest. Still one good cup run got Mc Claren the England job so no doubt a cup win qualifies Collins as a PL manager.

    Bad Joke Thread

"Can I sleep in your bed tonight, with you and Mummy?" Baby Balloon asks Father balloon. Father explains to baby that he is getting too old and too big to be sleeping in the same room as mummy and daddy and tucks him in and kisses him goodnight in his own bed. During the night, when mummy and daddy balloons are asleep baby balloon tries to squeeze himself into bed with mummy and daddy balloon, but there is no room. He then releases some air from Daddy balloon but there is still no room. So he releases some air from mummy balloon, but there is still no room. So finally he releases some air from himself, which allows enough room for him to snuggle in bed between mummy and daddy. In the morning, daddy balloon isnt impressed. "What did I tell you? You have to sleep in your own bed! You have been very naughty! You have let your mum down, you have let me down and most of all you have let yourself down!"
