Well actually I have another question. I got a new laptop yesterday which came without an LPT port so I can't use it to output to the hardware I need it to connect to. Does anyone know of a USB device which would act as an LPT port type thingy so I could connect the two?

I can't see that happening from what Roeder has been saying. I think that he has gone too far the other way and is afraid to spend the money on anyone other than relatively proven talent which could mean we end up with no one.
