  1. not married, but together 13 years, got 3 kids and a mortgage so I might as well be !
  2. Thanks for the kind words, it's the kids that is making it so difficult, I can cope with living at my parents house with just a carrierbag with a handful of clothes in, it's the thought of my kids which is the killer, on the surface they seem to be coping really well, I'm making far more of an effort to maximise the quality time I have with them.
  3. Feel for you mate and really sorry to hear that. For now we're sticking to the 'I have to work in England' story which is a whole lot easier to spin. Thanks dude, it's got to beat the "mum and dad aren't friends anymore" line that I had to use.
  4. There must be something in the air at the moment, me and my Mrs have parted company this week too, I'm back living with my mum and dad, still seeing my kids everyday but it's not easy, having to sit my kids down and explain to them that I had to leave was the hardest thing I've ever done. not good at all.
  5. Mike Ashley rejects Barry Moat's £80 million offer for Newcastle Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has rejected the latest £80 million offer from prospective buyer Barry Moat despite it meeting terms he indicated would be acceptable less than a week ago. By Paul Kelso Published: 7:58PM GMT 26 Oct 2009 Playing hardball: Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has rejected Barry Moat's £80 million offer for the club Photo: PA Moat had offered the Sports Direct tycoon £60 million up-front and cast-iron guarantees that the balance of £20 million would be paid next season, but Ashley rejected the offer indicating that it will take the full £80m up-front to persuade him to leave St James's Park. Ashley's decision to turn down the offer comes less than a week after he turned down a £40m-£40m offer from Moat indicating that a £60 million - £20 million split would be acceptable. With Moat still committed to completing a deal Ashley appears to be trying to squeeze the Tyneside businessman as hard as he can. Last week Ashley told Moat that he would make a decision by Wednesday evening only to ask for a further 28 hours to make his mind up on the offer. That deadline stretched into the weekend, with Ashley hopeful that his prevarication would give alternative buyers the time to indicate their interest. With no serious buyers appearing on the horizon he appears determined to push Moat as hard as he can. Despite the protracted and unpredictable negotiations, Moat remains determined to complete a deal and is understood to have solid funding plans in place. He will be reluctant to commit funds that are desperately needed for team rebuilding to the up-front purchase however, and he may seek to raise additional funds to finally persuade Ashley to move on. The latest development in a takeover negotiation that began in July will increase fears among supporters that Ashley intends to hang onto the club in the hope that they gain automatic promotion. If he does remain in charge he is likely to have to write off at least another £20 million to cover projected losses this
  6. that was the thinking behind my comment about his stats, I thought he got a lot of over the top praise by people that clearly didn't see him play much, crap at corners, crap at free kicks, 4 or 5 goals a season, but what he's always had is a good engine and a great work ethic, i just dont think much has changed.
  7. anyone know what Milner's stats are this season ?

Those examples are really impressive, some of the Blu-ray movies I've seen have been clearly taken from either a poor print or are a duplication of the DVD version, I'm glad I've finally seen some examples that show the benefits of the format.
  9. Thank god we won but it's a win that feels like a defeat in many ways.

  19. SOCCER boss Roy Keane is in the doghouse - because his barking mutts are keeping neighbours awake. Locals in the upmarket seaside town where Keane lives complain of constant noise from the labrador and German shepherd. Ex-Man U hard man Keane, 38, moved to a mansion in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, after starting as manager of Ipswich Town. But locals are keeping a log of the noise from his lab Triggs and pooch Izac. One said: "It's ridiculous how they bark. Some residents can't get a wink of sleep." Another said: "It's a peaceful area and he loves walking his dogs in the country. But for some he's ruined it." A Suffolk council source said: "This is a serious complaint and will be looked into. He won't get special treatment." It is not the first time dad-of-five Keane's dogs have got him in bother. In March he was quizzed by cops after a row with a neighbour near his old Manchester pad. Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/...l#ixzz0UC42piEp
