Found a zip file containing correct players names. http://www.geocities.com/synchronatedunder...aingamesave.zip Unzip to My Documents\Sensible Soccer 2006\Main Game Save Note there are a few mistakes, but don't blame me I only found it !

A great start but went downhill soon after, can't blame the players, I thought the tactics were shocking, as were the substutions, I firmly believe we have the players to win this competition, but as I feared before the competition the coaching staff especially that cock of a manager will wreck any chance we have of picking up the trophy.

Main complaint of the game for me is the camera view far too close to the pitch and the wandering camera makes me feel sick. Found this mod which works beautifuly, makes the game far more like its wonderful original version. Clickity click Once downloaded place the ini file in this folder: C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Sensible Soccer 2006\ini Back up your original first

If you don't like it, don't look.

You'd still think the same if you were that man, would you? 147334[/snapback] I'm looking at the bigger picture, and as I said before, if it takes a few mistakes in order to stop a major terrorist act than as unfortunate as it is for a very few individuals, then so be it.
-
If it takes a couple of innocent homes getting raided in the process of stopping a terrorist attack that could harm hundreds, its a price worth paying imo.

Mine arrived today, I've got to say I find the game very disapointing when compared to the original, its amazing that the original game which is probably the best part of 15 years old can be better than this but it is. They don't need the clunky players with the big heads, if they had made the game using the old graphics but with maybe a tweak to bring it up to date it would have been fine, but they have fucked it right up in my opinion.

Do everyone on this board a favour, fuck off and don't come back you prick.

Manchester United have had a £10m bid for midfielder Michael Carrick rejected by Tottenham, BBC Sport can reveal. Spurs dismissed the offer, insisting United would have to double their offer to land the 24-year-old, who is part of the England squad at the World Cup. Manchester United faxed their offer to Tottenham on Friday, but it was swiftly turned down. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants Carrick as a replacement for Roy Keane who left the club last December.

That ball moves wickedly. I feel sorry for the keepers. Great game to start the WC.

4-2 Screamer from Frings.

His broadcasting qualities are less than zero, he is the BBC's token blackman. Also see John Barnes/FIVE.

Reminds me of the Mythbusters episode where they tried to test the myth that a car that had once had a decomposing corpse in the the boot was so smelly that it could never be sold, so they put two dead pigs on the back seat and locked it in a cargo container for 2 months. It wasn't pleasant when they opened it up !

When they are playing the likes of El Salvador, Jamaica, and Panama in their qualification groups its no great suprise they qualify !

Argentinian World Cup winner Diego Maradona is backing Michael Owen to fill Alan Shearer's boots for Newcastle next season. Owen will return from the World Cup finals to lead the Magpies' line with his 35-year-old former team-mate having retired and all eyes on him after an injury-wrecked first campaign at St James' Park. However, Maradona, who was in England to take part in the Soccer Aid initiative last month, is confident the 26-year-old England striker is more than capable of taking over the Tyneside talisman's mantle. "I used to love watching Alan Shearer play," he told Newcastle's official website, www.nufc.co.uk. "He was one of the world's greatest strikers, not just for one or two seasons, but all the way through his career. "He had everything. He scored some striker's goals from close range, but he could shoot with both feet and he was great in the air. "Alan Shearer was the complete centre forward, both for his club and his country. "Newcastle United will miss him, there is no doubt about that - but I do not think he will be hard to replace because they already have another world class striker at the club in Michael Owen. "If Newcastle can create chances next season, then Michael Owen will score goals. "And also he wears the number 10 shirt - so he must be a special player!"

When I first heard about his new break I guessed it must have been a repeat of his first injury, but its the other leg !
