I am deadly serious. Although they have been rather poor of late. The last ten years in fact. But I stand by my statement, they're virtually the only band that will be talked of 20 years from now from this period in the way we talk about the Smiths, Roses etc IMO. In fact the only other band that springs to mind is Radiohead. Nirvana? hmm better than the pixies? sonic youth? faith no more? foo fighters? spose cause he blew his brains out they will be remembered more i guess

Fuck off I would put Joy Division, New Order, The Buzzcocks and happy mondays before that bunch of plagiaristic arseholes. I will probably think of some more just as I press add reply too. come on, you cant have joy division AND new order man, that's cheatin' to me it would be smiths stone roses jd/ no

seriously though can you imagine how shamed you would have felt when she 'came round'! and what about the paramedic who had to have a rummage to find the office switch, there's a job eh! hehe

What about all the fans of other clubs who havent won anything for over fifty years, as they dont moan like we do does that mean they are more loyal? Swansea fans dont complain that they've been starved of success, they're still proud about the fact they made it to the old first division in trhe eighties and were top at xmas ( i think). discuss

oh reading the subject I thought Birmingham had jumped on the old boro/ newcastle 'make ourselves look like tits by trying to get someone out of our league' bandwagon never mind eh

I agree with the sentiment, but I just hate that patronising, Liverpool-supporting wanker McNulty. Caçapa "out of his depth in the Premier League", he must have seen less games than I have! He should stick to wanking over Liverpool. And neither is sticking with the same manager. Birmingham were under Bruce for 6 years. (I think don't jump down my throat if I am wrong) Bruce did a canny job at Birmingham imo. What did he win? Before I answer, you are taking the piss, right? No I am not in 6 years in charge he has won nothing. Where does that show consistency gets results? but birmingham dont really want to win something like we do, arent hey just happy to muddle by?

Almost 2m speeding tickets a year adds up to an estimated £115.2m a year.

where is the similarity then? i dont think there's an argument that there are valid reasons for all of the above, can you explain what's wrong with driving at 90 mph on an empty motorway? -
have good ones lads

Don't drive or walk on the road and you wont be hit by a speeding car Hardly the same thing though, is it? What you mention is normal behaviour that is totally necessary in every day life whilst speeding is irresponsible and unnecessary. yeah i dont know why i said that really. been a long boring day at work and I'm knackered now I personally see that speeding is bad per se. Would removing the speed limit on motorways really cause more accidents? Usually when I drive on them ( mostly above 70mph) there is no other traffic to worry about on the outside lane so whats the problem? driving fast doesnt necessarily equate to dangerous driving imho -

some of the tradition songs are always a nice change of pace on a geordie compilation, stick on stuff like Cushie Butterfield and 'Keep ye feet still Geordie Hinny' if you can get it!

Buy him a yellow jumper. FFS that was easy Why can't we see that level of humour in all your posts? think he's better when he doesnt force it and it just comes out naturally -
I used to like it (years ago now ) when Sasha used to layer acapella versions of her songs over house tracks. Her old pop stuff is canny. 'I Will Always Love You' did my head in though. Did you see James Blunt on Top Gear btw? Canny funny tbf. Aye, over-played syndrome that. I tend to avoid that song, as well as I wanna dance with somebody. Didn't see the top gear. His sense of humour or personality doesn't interest me anyway, I just like his music shit I didn't realise he had either of those, better watch top gear which i recorded tonight now!

Shearer ready to step in with Allardyce one game from the sack
zico martin replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
There is a big differance between those names and the particlular football cultures they come from and Shearer. There is also a massive differance in the set ups they walked into compared to ours. yeah exactly thats what i meant like when has a geordie forward ever made it as a good manager in these post sky days of premiership football? doomed to failure see -
cant be sending them to everyone in britain who's used ebay though shirley? shame as you cant have too many fairy lights (/meenzer)

remember when we made a bid for Rooney? Pretty different. We made a bid which Everton were ready to accept. He chose not to come here when Man Utd got involved. Still though, we had as much chance of actually signing Rooney as Boro do signing Ronaldinho. are you kidding or just being stupid? he's not wrong though, it was pretty damn obvious that one of the big guns were gonna come in and sign rooney when we made it public that he was available at a price. admittedly its not eactly the same but i wouldnt gloat about it too much tbh
