I'll defo check him out then, cheers.

I like his curmudgeonly ways so I might check it out. Did just watch half an hour of his standup though, and it didn't really seem to be about anything. What are his more controversial views?

Choooon. Fond memories of when I didn't even know what that song was about.

This is one time I'm glad to have nfi what you're talking about. Take it to the kiddies' thread, please.

Megan Fox, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Anniston are apparently all trannies (as are probably 90% of the world's hottest women). I didn't make it far enough into the video to find out who that is, but ditto. All aboard the tranny train!

I assume we're all familiar with the Transgender Agenda? (A winner on the name alone)

Reading some of Wolfy's posts and that forum in general, there seems to be a contradictory thread running through their thought processes. That they won't believe anything that can't be shown to them in person while choosing to believe the flimsiest explanations for those that can. Wolfy's ability to disbelieve space trig unlike verifiable Earth trigonometry on one hand and yet believing in the power of positive thought to cure serious illness because someone once lasted 2 hours beyond a prognosis on the other.

Was he a legitimate flat earther? I like to think that particular conspiracy was created by trolls, populated by trolls and only supplemented by the seriously mentally ill. Or it's created by Them to discredit the real conspiracies.

I think I was, aye. Can you link to that forum, please? I can't wait to hear the opposing theory.

For those of you with a concentration span of less than 5 minutes. Think about it.

Fucking hell.

We'll probably always wonder how Labour with a strong pro-EU stance and a competent leader would have done.
-
It's about simple solutions to complex problems, people are scared and angry. The UK doesn't have a viable anti-establishment party, does it? UKIP were toast once the Tories went for a hard Brexit. I do agree with you that Corbyn has made it worse, but Labour were pretty fucked anyway.
-
I think I'm ok with that in the scheme of things. http://www.totalsportek.com/football/premier-league-shirt-sponsorship-deals/

So why is half the West suffering from the same problem? Is Corbyn responsible for Trump and Le Pen too?

GREAT scene in a GREAT film.

I assume the last thing to go will be art. There'll be some rabble of luddites who won't appreciate the next great novel being written by a fucking machine.

Aye, I remember seeing one of those hilarious signs in someone's office when I was a kid that read 'To err is human, to really fuck things up you need a computer'. I can't think about Ashley without seeing a slightly altered version of that message.

I agree with most of what you've said there (or at least that was where I was before I saw with equal measures of excitement and horror the rate at which AI/AGI is progressing). I think we just disagree with how we're going to have to get there. Don't really look like Charnley though, I'm hoping for Pruitt Taylor Vince for my inevitable Hollywood biopic.

He needs to stay anyway because I'm getting 'Raymondo 4' on the back of my new shirt.

I'm not totally disagreeing with Corbyn being pretty terrible at doing/knowing...anything. On the other hand, it's only going to get worse for the poor, as Neoliberalism is the only currently acceptable flavour of the Left What happens in 15 years when there are literally no jobs? It could be positively Dickensian for the vast majority. We need a massive change in ideology. Redistribution of wealth, separation of corporation and state.

I'm mostly with @@Rayvin, maybe a little more pragmatic. I do think Norway might be the best we can realistically expect. We might have to flirt with the right until Renton's generation die off and it's going to be a total shitshow for a while, but I have some faith we'll come out the other side with a more leftist slant. Honestly, if this is the best version of ourselves we deserve what's coming to us.
