The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread 2018 -2019
adios replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Rafa said he wanted the majority of transfer business done in time for preseason training. Not sure how realistic that is, but I believe he'll try. -
More to the point, where do you stand on the transgenda?

You've defo missed the crux of my argument like.

I like the cut of his jib.

The difference is scientism is our current best estimate, with the information available. It constantly challenges itself to find better answers. Doesn't mean some people aren't religious about science.
-
"I'm only as dumb as religious people" isn't much of a defence tbh.

Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16
adios replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
If 10% of their stadium capacity show up that's less than a pint each. Boooooo tbh. -
That logo's rank; hopefully it'll grow on us. Love @Craig's black mockup. Not sure the sponsors would ever go for that though given they'll want maximum exposure.

Having a nap I dreamt the title of this thread was changed to "the (apparent) end" and first post I read said "betting suspended". Was somewhat comforted that the Chronicle headline read "Jezzie Jezzie Jezza" or something. Had to immediately wake up and check.
-
Was very annoyed at Sky for broadcasting Hull and Huddersfield matches at the same time. Now very annoyed at myself for thinking the Huddersfield match was on at 1730.

Just looking at the hilarious gulf between Everton and the rest, I'd hope Rafa is eying top 10 tbh. Too optimistic, too soon?
-
It hasn't been. It's all guesswork right now on here and in the press. And £100m is obviously at the optimistic end of the spectrum, but willies out and all that.
-
I have to admit to being a bit of a fanboy; I think he's changing the future for the better. We'll all be cyborgs in our carbon-neutral houses/cars in no time.
-
Needs chinsing.
-
Probably Newcastle.
-
Fulham will probably go on and win this now.
-
Big goal for Reading there.
-
That's a good point. I would guess Fulham (who'll certainly have more pulling power in that London), but I've no idea. My biggest fear is that £100m will buy fuck all in terms of Premiership experience with the minimum TV money guaranteed.
-
Might also be nice to pick up a couple of Fulham's players in the summer.
-
Which is a ludicrous position in this day and age.
-
Thanks for the clarification.

I have newfound faith that Elon Musk is going to save us by melding man and machine.

Aye, I have that feeling about them too (both of them actually).
