cannot be much of a centre forward then You can't just say that, especially with someone his age. Thierry Henry was played mostly as a winger before Wenger signed him. This isn't me saying Wickham is as good as Henry btw. could not help yourself

afraid there has been one match and thats Pedro spread over his scouse and geordie days Beardsley was a great player, but I don't agree mate. I think Tony Green is the best player I've seen play for Newcastle, and putting him above Gazza tells you a lot. Co-incidence all these players are all forwards, not even strikers, but all forwards who play off the strikers or the attacking midfield position ? Is it because its the most influential position ? You need to re watch some of Pedros magic. did you see Tony Green ? course I did even did a benefit disco for him could not dancy very well, had a sore leg if I remember rightly. Nar he was good but Pedro over the years I'm not just on about here.

robinson was very impressive today, not easy playing agaist the pace of walcott. his only 17 so they will want a proven LB. maybe some sort of a swap deal Involving Konchesky. we can only dream, mabe enrique plus £10m. after all konchesky is a international does he not play for forest now?

the thoughts of an old man. shit I've pissed mesel er no thats not it. The former regime gave me the best times of my life following NUFC but now we are paying the price. If we had continued we be bust by now so Ashley (who has made mistakes) is what we need to get us out of the financial shit. Bitter pill. If we had won the league that year and maybe one of our cup finals we would be massive now (Mr state the bloody obvious)

They'd be like Aston Villa if they came down mate. No trophies on the table for 10 years, they'd both be at 1980's levels gate wise. Makes me laugh when they claim to be the best fans in the world, biggest glory hunters in the world. I'm not gonna start bangin me chest and drum like I have done, but WE ARE BY FAR AND AWAY THE MOST LOYAL FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD. Anyone that contests that is a wum or a cunt. sort of going to contest that. I agree when taliking about the "big clubs" by that I'm including the likes of Derby, Millwall. The loyalest supporters have got to be the likes of Crewe, Hartlepool etc. As a fanbase I mean. Hartlepool have lost half their support since Sheff Wed did them in the play off final in 2005. We've been hit with nukes left right and centre, and we're still standing together. Well most of us, there is the odd J69 deserter example. aye I agree with that. never fails to amaze me when you go away, Blackburn, Wigan etc. when we reach cup finals it's as if the whole of Newcastle is there
