I normally agree with you but tonight in my opinion you have said one of the stupidist things I ever heard from a true NUFC fan. Just read the whole post back there. You have to remember compared to the likes of you and Peasepud am just a youngun. I was just a bairn mid/late 80's so that's when my toon memories started. I never saw the likes of Dick Barton, Billy Rafferty, and of course Shinton. There was always Beardsley my first memories involved him, then Goddard was there who was class. Mirandinha and Goddard were better than what we have now, the Quinn and McGhee certainly were. To a point even Andy Hunt was, then Peacock and Kelly. Cole, Beardsley through to Ferdinand and Tino, then Shearer for 10 years with various other good strikers, even big Dunc was good when he was fit. Martins and Owen when he was fit were passable, and now we're left with these none of them are what I would class as top toon strikers.
