I think because the kit is dependent on name and numbers to prevent (or increase the chances) looking like a tool a lot of people wont order till the end of the season. Like a Smog fan buying a Gillespie shirt, for example?
-
If that is the case, it would have been an ideal time to have the classic 70's oblong with the number in the middle - rather than that cheap, shitty-looking panel in the picture.
-
Maybe I'm imagining it, but since Freddie reduced the size of our badge (about seven years ago, or so), other clubs' badges seem to have gotten bigger.
-
This. A cynic would think the plan was to make people pay to have 'stuff' put on the back at the club shops.

There seems to be a few tickets available on the ticket exchange websites. At a price, of course. What a surprise.

Went to see Che Part 1 tonight. Although I enjoyed it, it wont be everyone's cup of tea. With only knowing as much as everyone else about him, the portrayal seemed so very realistic to me. 8/10. -
Narrr, it'll be Jonas with a last minute equalizer. We will finally get to see him go mental, and NUFC fans everywhere will be doing the exact same thing.
-
Better still, the percentages of capacity based on actual attendances. Only after the war, of course. Blah de blah de blah. I'm off for another glass of water and then I'm going to clean the turnstile, oops, I mean the front door. All this football chat!!!

When Gary Speed tells me it was a penalty and my own eyes tell me it was a penalty, then Sima says it wasn't - I have a tough decision to make. Hmmm, Gary Speed or Sima, Speed or Sima? Guess who swayed my mind.

Nor me, and normally I'm like a starved version of Jaws. You say that, but the real question is whether you shop at Iceland in the hope of seeing Kerry Katona there ??
-
You say that, but would you ???

Are you on a diet? My body is a temple. Shame it's a ruin A national treasure, regardless. English Heritage:D And why is that dudum-ctcheeee smiley called a 'rimshot'. Sounds positively disgusting.

Are you on a diet? My body is a temple. That's why all the chicks on here want me to shag them. Anyway.....

I've just had a banana, an apple and a glass of water for my lunch.

A cleaner?? FFS. Went for a walk yesterday morning and saw the car cleaning set-up at Brierdene (Whitley Bay) doing a good trade. Lazy fuckin bastards who can't be bothered to clean their car. Of course there may be the odd one or two who have a physical problem and rely on this type of service, but the majority imo are just lazy twats who have more money than sense.

12 and a half actually inches?!! hell yeah, why do you think I'm so chirpy all the time! Because you've got a family size bag of maltesers in the cupboard, fatty? hardyfknhar short arse! I'm findin it very hard to be mean to you these days, think I'm developing a soft spot for you like when folk choose a pet and they pick the runt of the litter out of pity? Thats you, you're my very own little retard for me to play and have fun with. Come on bonny lad, I'll blow up some balloons.......... I have to admit it, that's quite a funny post The thought of Wack demanding a dog-shaped balloon sculpture makes me chuckle.

Doesn't really matter, though, as Kadar is just an untried kid really who was never in the frame as a standby replacement for Enrique.

Ninja codes. Don't suppose you're any good at shooting Spuds fans???

It just doesn't say how or why! How? By having a two-tier top league where only the reasonably sized+ teams are allowed. Why? To keep shitey Hull etc out. These, I take it, are what the auther means. On a similar note, I read that Simon Jordan proposes the Old Firm having to pay £100m to join the top divisions of English football. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If Rangers and Celtic are allowed into English football I wouldn't set foot in SJP again.

Kadar, is it, the lad who got injured. He plays lb for the reserves (unless I'm mistaken).

Fight of flight is encoded I'd imagine. As for difference, I think that is culturally determined. Plants and insects use colour to discriminate in their behaviour and we come from them. That's a bit of a tenuous link Chez. The thing is, research into genetics, and in particular how genes interact with their environment, is really in its infancy. It's going to turn out to be mind-boggling complex I reckon. But from the evidence I see, I just don't accept that fear of different races is hardwired into our DNA. People are a product of their environment, first and foremost, tbh I think that is blindingly obvious even reading the various posting styles and opinions on toontastic if you get to know a bit about the posters' real life background. Well first of all i'd say it was 'vague' not tenuous. It would be tenuous if i had not made the case for patterns of learnt behaviour that help a species survive being the same for plants, animals and humans, which i thought i did. The plant / insect example is similar in its nature to more complex human thought processes. Secondly, we are the products of millions of years of genetic learning, therefore the majority of what we are is nature not nurture. (Popper outlines it best - have a taste http://radio.weblogs.com/0135950/categorie...2004/03/20.html ) Thirdly, racism may be an environmental manifestation (via nurture) of something more fundamental which is encoded in our genes. I dont think i'm racist but i've lost count of the times i've muttered 'french cunt' under my breath. Which reiterates the point I made about, oh, a hundred pages back! Having those sentiments does not make you a racist; but the pc tossers' description of being racist would make you one by using such language. Surely we always wish to use the most immediately obvious description of someone who offends us e.g. Ginger twat, Fat twat, Lanky twat etc etc until the obvious French twat. In Chez's case, it sounds like a logical and commendable reaction to his environment to me. Couldn't agree more, old bean.

Option 6 for me. Oh, and polls on here should have a Fiddy option for them to be meaningful. Just sayin' like. -
On the subject of old songs at the match, I see Harry Roberts is out and on the front cover of The Mail on Sunday I don't think that's one to be revived though Thinking about the old songs, I remember hearing this from one lad on the Gallowgate during a rendition of 'beat him on the head, beat him on the head, beat him on the head with a baseball bat, oh yeah, oh yeah': "Clag him in the mooth, clag him in the mooth, clag him in the mooth with a Hintons pie, oh aye, oh aye" :icon_lol: The old days were the best, there's no mistake. Edit: I meant to post this in the football forum. Thick twat. That's what comes of drinking too much water!!!
