I was in a hotel room last week watching a recording of an Aus/Eng 20twenty game on ESPN. Anyway, some of the players e.g. Vaughan and Gillespie (Church) were 'miked up' to the commentators. Now, ordinarily, I don't particularly like limited overs cricket, but the commentary with the players/commentators and the fun that the players and fans (apart from 'Punter' Ponting, that is - the sour faced twat) seemed to be having really appealed to me.
