1. I will nail my colours to the mast. First time I saw him (against Manure) I wondered if he was going to flatter to deceive. Now, after boro, I reckon that given the opportunity and correct service he could turn out to be a fantastic player for us up front. There, I've said it and I feel, oh, so much better for it!
2. Would a person appear thick if they said they didn't know who the feck this Janine and Anthony characters are?? Jane - listen to my completely natural accent - Middlemiss And fitness videos.... who buys them??? WOMEN, that's who!!!!!!!! Us blokes are just naturally fit
3. Agreed. I was thinking that the fans of NUFC are a little placated by the state of affairs at the Village of the Damned. If they weren't sooooo bad, Souness would be long gone I reckon.
4. 73215 You can be my sexual advisor. When I want your FUCKIN' advice, I'll ask for it!! SHUUUTIT!!

Can I just say that I find this matter of wanting to people to die quite disturbing? Regardless of how much you think you dislike someone, to actually profess to want them to die is just wrong imo. (Christ I'm becoming a fuckin' Liberal!!!) I can't quite decide how I feel about predicting which folk will die this year though Innocent enough, I suppose, but it just seems strange.
6. Live and let live, I say. If Pav and others like him want to go down this route then let them do it. I cannot describe how I feel at the moment other than numb. I think Souness should go, and go now, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to join in the 'Souness Out' chants when boro scored their second; it seemed a much too predictable time for the 'outers' to voice their concerns imo. If they are that concerned then they should voice their opinions before such events (the opposition going ahead). I think Pav and the others who are doing this should be somewhat applauded for the courage of their convictions. It's not something I will be joining in with, though. I suppose that makes me a bit of a limp-wristed dick who lets others do the dirty work??? In my defence though, I did my bit to get rid of the long ball shite served up by Jack Charlton so now that I'm nearly 40 *cough* surely I am entitled to let the young 'uns do the necessary now?
7. I'm available! To continue the great work by Mick McMackem. Glad that it appears 'the KK says...nooooooooo.'
8. What part did Bob De Niro play in The Untouchables ? Genuine question.
9. It's just my opinion mind, but I reckon Gerrard is the best player in the Premiership, bar none, at the moment. Fantastic. And Motty on MOTD should have a look at himself. He hardly gave Drogba any credit but imo that finish was absolutely magnificent.
10. Than you will no doubt come to the conclusion enoughs enough and Rin tin tin could manage better than Souness 73001 I have had enough now but I'd still be concerned about who Shepherd has in mind (if anyone) for a replacement. He seems to work on a 'sack now, think later' policy though. 73002 Had a thought today that maybe Portly Freddie is in a sticky situation regarding getting rid of Souness. Should he get rid, Souness could then open up and tell the real story regarding his brief when he got the job i.e. getting rid of the 'cancer'. I doubt Portly Freddie wants Souness opening his gob and telling the truth, which may just stop the axe falling????
11. I thought Luque was a marked improvement up front instead of out left. He did fade a bit in the second half, for me, but at least he wasn't anonymous. Must admit to wondering what he would look like playing alongside Owen and us not playing this hoof-up-the-field shite, but pass and run 'proper' football. EDIT: Oh, and a big 'up' for Zog who doesn't half get me going.

That was a great programme, I thought. Can't stand Animal Hosp, but I do like Rolf; he strikes me as a nice chap.
13. Took mrs and miss hips to Lion Witch and the Wardrobe the other night. Absolutely FABULOUS. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie so much.
14. Love Larsson meself like. But, I wonder if it actually matters who we bring in. Even with Owen, we weren't actually turning on the style were we. After two dreadful away games, it will be interesting to see just how things go today. I don't think there will be much anti Souness stuff today - unless boro take a lead.
15. SUE them Rob!!!! Dirty thieving b'stards The ulitmate will be when your goodself spots the BBC *spit* cut and pasting one of yours!!!!! They're all at it. If you listen to Legends (now and again) you will tell that Supermac MUST have been on these pages, with some of the things he comes out with. 'They' don't bother going on the GREAT site though, (apart from Dim and Dom or whatever they're called on Sat morn), as 'they' want intellectual material only! Oh, and some stuff about trees, I'm reliably informed
16. ...they wonder why we call them sad Some jerkoff who supports that lot down the road has written in to the letters page of teletext bleating on about how Mick McMackem should 'give someone else a go' and other tedious ramblings which are quickly forgettable. However, the great wit (or should that be tit?) has signed himself as: F Todd-Malone. How hilarious SMB was invented for its truth.
17. Heard on the news that the Village of the Damned have sounded out KK about taking over their rag tag and bobtail outfit once Mick McMackem has departed. Paper talk, I know, but surely KK wouldn't do such a hidious thing?
18. Bacardi I love you, I really do. Got home around 5 after arseing god knows how much of the clear nectar and drank a pint of water before hitting the sack. Feel great now. Or should that be GREAT! ?? Anyways, Happppppppppy New Year to one and all
19. "the idea was to frustrate the crowd." What the fuck type of tactics does this suggest??? It suggests the same sort of drivel we can all come out with and hear from the tv pundits who have no specialised knowledge of football. Keep it tight and frustrate the crowd; the rhetoric of football simpletons.
20. Am I the only one to find this comment baffling??? 'I got a call from someone who knows him..' When, I wonder, was the last time Souness spoke to Dyer himself to ask how he's feeling??? And as for trying to deflect the argument about letting Emre go to Turkey because 'it's not unusual to get someone to look at them who they're used to' or words to that effect, is just bull as far as I'm concerned. I wonder if Souness is scared of upsetting Emre and didn't want to tell him to stay here.
21. Of course I did! I am not a pseudo anything!!!! Off oot now.
22. Thick bint should have gotten a black or white cat then as they go with everything. 72315 Harsh, but true! 72331 No I wont do it! Was going to make a crap, obvious, joke about pussies but I shall refrain. This is a board for psuedo-intellectuals, after all.
23. A report on Teletext says that Souness has been defending himself in an article, saying that the quote Pardew refers to has a missing bit in about the pace of Owen. Souness says that it was the pace of Owen that the defenders were scared of. Papers mis-quoting people! Whatever next??
