  1. I wonder if this sort of advertising could be a tax swerver in some way? If he did stoop to what would amount to a pretty goddamn low, and named it thus, I would luv it, LUV IT, if commentators around the world deliberately started taking the piss by 'accidentally' referring to it as the 'Direct Sports Arena' just to piss him off. LUV IT, I would. Over and over and over again "...Direct Sports Arena..", "...Direct Sports Arena...", "..Direct Sports Arena..." Now that would give me some sort of satisfaction, knowing that he was getting more and more pissed off at the lack of advertising of his company.
  2. I have a suspicion I wont be buying it. However, it's a dreadful idea imo.
  3. Why don't the pair of you just shack up together? You never know, you might come to enjoy it all after a while. See Meenz for details.
  4. Wonder if Venga will play is 2nd string for that game? Hughes will be going all out to win his first trophy so they will be at full strength I'd imagine.
  5. Aye, I think you're right. It was Andy Hunt who came from n/l I think. I think I read he ended up in Belize, for some strange reason. Still there too http://www.greendragonbelize.com/aboutus.html I remember once standing in the Gallowgate and exclaiming "Andy Hunt? More like Andy CUNT!". This young lass in front of me (no, she was watching the match, not on her knees) turned around and angrily said "He's not a cunt. I like him"
  6. Aye, I think you're right. It was Andy Hunt who came from n/l I think. I think I read he ended up in Belize, for some strange reason.
  7. It's about time you started reading the hidden forum, as the clique don't drink there anymore - since the takeover of the pub. Then again, maybe that's why they've been telling you to go there ??
  8. Is that the Alan Neilson who played for us? Jim Smith brought him from non-leauge iirc.
  9. I've wanted a pin table for fuckin' donkey's years, just never got around to getting one. Jealous as fuck tbh.
  10. definatley not the hairy 'axe' wound effect for this poor fucka!! wot a doyle!! Does this make you the Avatar Lynxman, then ??
  11. Shitter, Parkster. Really sorry to hear that. Double shitter for you really, as the requests for you to visit the Trent will mean not getting to see me due to my unilateral absence from attending the match. Crikey, could things get any worse?
  12. I've used the chopper effect for years - gets them every time
  13. Look, she's pregnant, man. You are just going to have to get used her wanting pilchards on ice cream rather than you.
  14. Absulute fucking bollocks and you know it, frankly a cheap shot from a sad fucker who has to spice up his life and make out hes a big shot on the internet when frankly hes just some argumentative wank. You've now decided to turn a couple of hundred people into lickspittles behind some faceless name on a message board, maybe you should credit these people with a bit of free thinking eh? unlike yourself the other members on here are capable of reading something said and making an informed decision. As for this one, sorry like but thats bollocks as well, I dont come on here and preach the NUST stuff, I report what is happening and give reasoned argument for and against, read back over my previous posts, at times I myself am critical of the organisation, I myself may not agree with everything that goes on or where the focus is sitting at any one time. If I dont though then I'll make those feelings known. Im willing to stand up for what I believe in, I report back to the committee when I see whats going on on here, whats being said and how generally those that use places such as this are feeling. If anything you'll find that Im one of the few on that committee who wants to see more radical action, Im the one that stands up and makes my voice heard and is willing to say "this is shite, I disagree with it". If however, the rest disagree then Im fucked, what I wont do however is throw my toys out of the pram and walk away that would mean theres one less voice there touting the opposite view and even less chance of a reasoned debate taking place. Currently its working because thats democracy, the committee was formed to take this club forward in the way it sees fit. If you dont think that we're doing that then you are quite rightly within your rights to table a "no confidence" motion. Im sure however that will really piss Ashley off, us fighting amongst ourselves. You talk about putting the options to the members yet not once have you taken on board the fact that I keep saying time and time again in this thread that we are looking at the options, we are pulling together views and thoughts and things that may or may not work. It takes time to document and plan out these options properly, it takes time to see if they would work, see if you have the relevant backing and people on board. Then and only then is it a good idea to put them to the members, whats the use in saying we can do a,b,c,d or e oh and maybe f as well, which do you want? only to answer "I dont know, not thought about it" when asked what d means. As for certain people on here trotting out the "Im not giving him any more money, Im not going anymore" well great, good on you however thats not exactly a major sacrifice is it when as you put it "I normally decide which games I fancy going to", not really a hard thing to do when the options are Scunthorpe, Cardiff and Peterborough, not Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal. Its also not a hard sacrifice to make when you spend 6 months of the year out of the country and miss half the games anyway. It must give a real warm glow to sit two thousand miles away knowing you're being paid to make that stance and being smug with a "Im boycotting, why arent you" attitude. Some of us have a problem in paying out money to the fat man for the next three years only to let that go, hes no worse off but I am, Im paying out for something Im not going to use yet at the same time everyone else is still there, wooopeedoo theres 2000 of us not turning up out of principle, most of whom have already paid their money therefore its not 2000 less in gate receipts. If however a full, widescale boycott of the matches was organised then Id be stood there outside with the rest of them. Until then I'll be there week in week out giving my support to the lads and vocally making it clear how I feel about the regime. I'll be there 10 minutes after the game supporting the Ultras. Some of us never buy anything from the club out of the principle, not one drop of beer, water or a bite of a pie has passed my lips in that ground since last September. I dont see it as a major problem, what I do see as a problem is the fact I wont be able to buy my son a toon top the day hes born, that I cant kit him out for the day he is taken out of the RVI, that hurts me because thats how I would have always seen it happening. I can still take the long way home and drive past those gates, the gates that will still say "St James Park" on them come January. I can still stop and say "one day son, thats where you'll stand, with the rest of them that care about this club". As for anyone who thinks that Im using this board as an extension of the NUST and is sick of it then feel free, this link may help > Click here I will continue to give you the views from inside, I may not even personally agree with them at times but I'll still report them because if I dont then you'll have even less chance to disagree with them than you do now. Finally, as for chucking in your membership of the Trust CT what do you think you've gained from that? the minute its cancelled then you've got no ability to make your voice heard, no chance to put your views on the forum or argue against things at a meeting. Thats not making a stance, its cowardice, its being unwilling to stand up for what you believe in. The same Supporters for Change lad that now a major NUST player? the same Supporters for Change lad who argues strongly against protest at this point in time? Does that not tell you something? As I said, Pud, I could be completely wrong about my non-attendance at the matches, but my instinct tells me to stop giving Ashley any more of my money. In 20 years time I could well feel the same as that bloke you mention. As for my stating the fact about sitting thousands of miles away, I felt I had to state that in order for folk to understand my position. If I hadn't, someone would have just as quickly come out with the line that it was easy for me, given my circumstances. I put it out with full understanding that I would have to take whatever criticism came my way. I'm quite happy to take the flak, because what matters far more is the debate about the future of NUFC rather than having a go at each other - that is addressed to one and all on messageboards everywhere btw.
  15. We attempted to open dialogue with Moat a while back. He's fully aware of our position, what sort of funds were talking about and what not. To date (as far as I'm aware) there's been no reply. That'll be with the two seats on the board condition ? Unless I'm waaay off the mark on this, this was my bet weeks ago. And you'd prefer what? that we gave him peoples money (money they have invested with a view to changing the way this club is ran and ensuring its done properly with the fans in mind) and told him just to piss it up a wall? Too right we'd expect seat(s) on the board, investing a 5th of the purchase price on behalf of the fans and getting no say? Thats not what a Trust is for but if you do think thats a bit harsh then please feel free to donate via paypal to peasepud@toontastic.net and I'll pass it onto Barry for you. Pud, I wasn't trying to be antagonistic, just my attempt at putting the pieces of the jigsaw together. I've put my thoughts on the matter about seats on the board, and I would quite happily be proved wrong - as I would be in everything regarding NUFC. I'm not attempting to be contrary just for the sake of it, I'm pro-NUST - I always have been. If NUFC is taken over by Moat in conjunction with NUST then I would be ecstatic as it would mean the end of Ashley. I would want nothing more than success after success for the club and partnership owners. I have a point regarding this issue (the MOAT/NUST combo), but will hoy it over to the NUST website, in case you think I'm arguing just for the sake of it. I don't feel you have any responsibilty to continually argue the case for them on here, though I credit you for doing so.
  16. I guess it's just me that thinks discussing GEETARS in this thread is fuckin beyond a joke. Okay, I can take the flak. Don't hold back.
  17. We attempted to open dialogue with Moat a while back. He's fully aware of our position, what sort of funds were talking about and what not. To date (as far as I'm aware) there's been no reply. 18. But isn't there an NUST boycott of merchandise ??????? Does that not reduce the club's income as well ? I said on here a while ago that maybe we should be spending money on NUFC, not reducing in by boycotting pies/pints/merchandise for the simple reason of him getting his money back as soon as possible and fucking off from our club just as quickly. I remember passing the 'Supporters For Change' lads in the 80's on my way into the ground and thinking "These guys are fucking daft. How can they NOT want to go in to see the match?" I just couldn't comprehend their thoughts. 20-odd years later and I'm in the same position they were then! I don't know if I'm right by not going back, only time will tell. Even when he finally does go we, and thousands of others, will be debating till the end of time about who was right/wrong. All I can do is follow my instincts on this and they are telling me to stay away.
  19. Okay, I've decided I've had enough and wont go back until that bloke has left. It's easy for me to do as I work thousands of miles away from home for over six months of the year. Easy for me as I don't have a season ticket. Well, if anyone believes that, then I can tell you you couldn't be further from the truth. I am a right fuckin emotional tool and for some unknown reason there are tears rolling down my face as I'm typing this. The sleepless nights I've had over this football club counting up potential game results and their meaning, the emotional highs and dreadful lows I have experienced over the years have eaten away at my soul to an unexpected level from when I first glimped that magnificent stadium and beautiful green turf. I've never claimed to be the greatest supporter. I'd like to think I'm one of the most voiciferous though, and those that truly know me will testify that I'm rather enthusiastic about shouting and singing at the match, rather than sitting on my fucking hands like a lot of folk. However, I will put all that to one side until that man has gone. I doubt they will miss my financial support, such is it's paucity, but never mind. Yeah, it's easy for me sitting here.
  20. I know Marvellous Marvin Hagler has signed, but I'm not sure of the point of it all tbh so I haven't.
  21. You're right, Stevie, but there is nothing us non-season ticket holders can do to overcome that. I have been waiting to buy a ST just as soon as Moat, or any other person bought the club. That's easy for me to say, of course. Actions speak louder than words. Actions do speak louder than words. ST holders like their football and need their 'fix'. It's in the blood. It's a drug. So what greater statement could there be than for ST holders to say "Fuck it. This is going to cause me a lot of pain, but I am going to make my feelings known in the only way you (LardAsh) can see" and miss one game? If there was a mass boycott organised for one game and as many folk who actually do care about NUFC stayed away then surely that would be a start? You and the other 35k+ ST holders have paid your money and your attendance means fuck all in a financial sense to Ashley (other than pies and pints, should you wish to), so a mass non-attendance will demonstrate a far greater feeling of anger than anything else - for starters. Just one game? Of course, I'm probably pissing against the wind here. As I said in the other thread, folk will continue as sheep normally do as 'it's only football' and continue to be shafted from behind by that fat shithead and let him wipe his grubby cock on their behinds whilst grinning and thanking him for being there and helping Newcastle United Football Club. This fat cunt is pissing on us all and yet the majority of us are just lapping it all up like a bunch of timid mice, rather than show him the band of brothers we actually are by offering him 'outside'. Why are we scared of the club going completely down the pan now? The way things are going we are only postponing the inevitable imo. Those that paid three years in advance for their ST are, by your definition, the most commited to the club. Well let's look at those three years: This is the first year - in The Championship. Year 2 - Let's, just for a second, imagine we get promoted - The Premiership. A year watching absolute garbage football, following no player investment, coupled with heavy defeat after heavy defeat. Relegation. Year 3 - Back in The Championship. Even if that year is good, how many folk would then cough up again, knowing the shite was going to continue???? 10,000 ??? IMO, at the end of your third year this club will be fucked. Gates locked. Administration. Unless that fat cunt is got out of our club as soon as possible, this story is only going to end one way.
  22. Action is needed. Cancel all SKY subscriptions. Can you imagine the arse twitching at SKY if thousands of people started cancelling their subscriptions? They would be straight on to LardAsh to re-think his plans. Start trashing/torching his shops up and down the country. Bring the streets and railway station of Newcastle to a standstill by mass protests. Hack into his company's computer network and trash it. Or is it 'just football' ??? Are we fucking sheep who don't give a shite about being pushed around time after time by ONE FUCKIN' BLOKE??????????? We need to make a stand. Re-naming St James' Park is not going to be tolerated. Or is it 'just football' and doesn't really matter??? Is this part of our heritage which one man can come along and fuck with, or are we going to wake up and try and stop it? Too far, LardAsh, you have pushed me to the limit on this one kidda. You may think this is a larf and I am an inconsequential piece of shit - but you would be sadly mistaken, sir. I am a fucking NUTTER when I get going and believe me, you have got me going. Think I'm kidding, LardAsh? You just watch. For starters, make sure your helicopter is well guarded when it's waiting for you on Tyneside. Of course, I'm joking. Ha ha ha ha ha.
  23. The Baader Meinhoff Complex. It was good, but due to the fast dialogue it was a struggle to read the sub titles and see the picture as well at times. I didn't miss the boobies though 7/10 on the hips scale They were all morons btw.
  24. ACTION. For a long time I have thought the same as Stevie, in that our protests are fucking shite. As he says, shouting at the lights - what a waste of time. My suggestions? 1st: Any true Newcastle United supporter should cancel their SKY subscription. If the numbers actually DID this, SKY would be putting as much pressure on LardAsh to re-think his ground re-naming plans. We need help on this issue, and this would surely help. 2nd: If he goes along with this plan, and actually does re-name SJP I will go on to the pitch during a game. I would hope that every man jack among us would do the same. Get the game stopped - abandonded. Imagine the world-wide publicity we would receive and imagine the FA actually being FORCED to take some notice. Okay, I will go to court and not be allowed back into the ground, but if 10,000+ people did the same, what would they do - arrest every fucker???? I doubt enough fuckers would follow me, but I'm prepared to do it and suffer the consequences. Re-naming St James' Park is just one step too far for me.
