  1. Statement of intent from Ashley, man. 'They think I don't understand what makes a good manager? I'll show them' Be interesting what happens when we inevitably go through a rough patch within that 5 and a half year period.
  2. I'd take money on Guthrie, Smith and Jonas if we can get Gosling and Ben Arfa fit and signed up. If not only to get them off the wage bill. I definitely think we need another left sider to cover for Jonas. He hasn't looked interested for a while now. Don't know anyone available like. We'll probably end up with Ali Dia making a come back under the recommendation of Aspers.

I like true faith for the honesty but leave it raging when immersing myself in the hatred for Ashley. I have enough of my own, believe me. I've had a look at these forums for a couple of years occassionally, it's the only place with like minded people who actually have a clue. Give or take a couple of unmentionables. (Don't want to murk the water so early in the day). Did you get the link I sent yesterday?

I was having a conversation with a mate through the week about nufc.com's analysis of the Hughton carry on. In reality, they've ran that website alongside real jobs I believe? and have, at times grown sick of certain things and sometimes show their feelings more than we're used to for an editorial website like that. I dislike how they've referred to Sir Bobby Robson as being given a vote of no concidence by the fans. I disagree with a great deal in their Hughton debacle, but they do have the right to an opinion. I rarely go on nowadays as the craic is pretty pony compared to about 5 years ago.
  5. Nut him, supply photographic evidence and you can have an 08 plate Mondeo free of charge, mate. I shit you not.
  6. He wasn't exactly drawing attention from other clubs for the standard he is, was he? That's what I meant for him. I'll be honest on Tiote, I'd never seen him play or heard a great deal about him.
  7. If whoever found Tiote and Ben Arfa can do likewise in January I'd be more than pleased. Jason from LA Galaxy would be welcomed and would play ahead of Jonas. Maybe cover at left back but god knows who.
  8. The problem with Tevez, not that I'm a friend of his or anything, is that he doesn't have a love for the game anymore. He's won everything there is to win domestically and it's obvious he wants to go back to Argentina and live the 'quiet life'.
  9. I think Barton said 'That's for chris' into the camera from what I've seen on MOTD. That's Hughtons team spirit and they'll keep that regardless of who came in. It's still a disgrace what happened on monday and lest we forget. 1, 20, 100 victories will never make up for the treatment to Chris Hughton. Never forgive, never forget. How ugly's The FCBitch, by the way. She's packing more weight that her husband. I bet they've got a double kingsize.
  10. Shola couldn't trap a mouse. He falls over as his second touch is always a tackle. Hopefully Ranger'll get his chance now after impressing again after coming on. He's young, powerful, fast and a bit of a, dare I say it, Tino, in that it always falls for him with the gangliness of his legs.
  11. Again, Tiote was class today. I'm starting really worry he'll be a target of some of the 'bigger clubs'. Everytime he finds the ball and turns the man outside on his right I see pure class. He'd slide into any side in the world, imo. It must give the players around him more confidence to go missing for long spells, refer to Jonas again today and his basic inability to hold onto the ball. If Jose didn't help him out by being so close to him all the time we'd be wide open down the left. Tiote was everywhere again, looks like it's a breeze for him. I used to see that in Woodgate. He could stroll around as he could read the game so well. Anyway, thanks for the 4 months service, Cheick, enjoy Barca.
  12. I spoke to a bin dipper dad before the game who was wishing us luck and said 'We know what yaa saaaayin maaayte' and the usual peddle. Then we went 1 up and they decided to break through the thin line of yellow coats and have a ding dong with the Newcastle fans. Was on the stroke of half time. The fucking dirty tramps were spitting off the balcony onto those in the Leazes. Luckily I'm back row so underneath the line of fire. There was fighting throughout the ground today. Again, bin dippers sneaking in and celebrating when they scored (see my post in Protests thread).
  13. I'll try to summarise what went on today. I in no way condone some of what went on, especially by the fucking stewards outside the Milburn Enterance. I arrived at about 4.15 to have a look at what was going on. It seemed initially that one guy was running the show, short, bald, toon top on, scarf with about 200 people behind him, mostly about 16 years old. The usual chants were going on; YFCBGOOOC, Ashley is a wanker, sit doon if you love the toon etc. I stood well back with the other 'oldies' and took it in for a while. Then 2 stewards came over and told a husband/wife that they must take their banner away as it was 'offensive' to the owner of the property. It said 'Get this slug out of OUR club'. I had to interject. I said 'Are you not fucking offended by what you're boss has done to your city?' 'Are you even a toon fan?' so on and so on. He said 'I agree with the reasoning but not the methods and I'll have you nicked if you carry on'. People watched, people heard and people went mental. The flags were then getting thrown around to keep out of reach of the stewards. A chant was directed at the fat little cunt by a now 600+ protesters of 'Faaat Harry Potter, you're just a fat Harry Potter' and 'Get a proper job, get a proper job'. They turned the atmosphere a trifle aggressive through their iron fisted stewarding. I hung around and watched as the growing crowd raised their voices. Then I got in the ground and heard very, very little. The odd 'FCBGOOOC' and 'one chrissy hughton' etc. The FCB must be rubbing his hands in delight. I assume I'm not alone in seeing numerous fights breaking out in the crowd. One man was knock out cold about 10 along from me by a massive guy. I have no idea what went on. The protest was loud, proud but unfortunately unorganised and not structured. If only we had a supporters trust who could've assisted. Anyway, we won 3-1, I've never felt so depressed after a Newcastle game ( including both 2-1's against the unwashed put together) and I'm definitely not going back. My seat will sit empty for the remainder of his tenure. Could cry.
  14. Would be good selling Carroll, as he's our best player? Honestly, mate your points are relevant, you just need the odd full stop to breakdown your arguements. On Barton; As the squad stands at the moment we need him. If we can replace him with a (David Bentley, out there I know) or another set piece taker I don't think we'd miss him. His wages are high but I'd rather cut the squad by 3 (Guthrie, Best, Saylor) and save the funds that way. If Leon Best is on over £300 a week it's a disgrace. I'd have him and Guthrie on minimum wage, paid for when they're there. Does anyone know if Gosling offers anything in terms of set-pieces and crossing?
  15. I hope they fucking crucify him. Does he actually mean he hopes we don't show support for chris for too long? I hate how he refers to us as 'we'. Fuck off.
  16. I can however see the Livepool fans taking several things from Newcastle.
  17. One last fag eh Soemthing like that. Let's hope it's easier than when I kicked the old jungle tobacco circa' 96. Honestly mate, and at the end of the day you have to do whats right for you, but these feelings will pass. They did after KK and they did after he announced he was going to re-name the ground. (should have been here for those threads). Even last year when Hughton got appointed they're were very similar threads to now about Ashley not having a clue, fucking us over etc etc. Basically what most came round to thinking was that there were various reasons why we played well during the promotion season but we would still need a change of manager once promoted. Its the replacement that is the big issue not Hughton going. Pay your admin fee and at least make your mind up at the end of the season. None of this is right for me, mate. Especially for my health. I'm generally a passive person but nothing enrages me quite as much as people messing with Newcastle United. I feel for myself but then think of all the other thousands of people who are feeling the same pain and realise it's not right what one man can do to our city. I do have quite a lot of anger towards Pardew for seemingly stepping into the role so quickly and not showing any due respect to Hughton in his press conference. That's one of the biggest shitters for my anger towards him. I said I'd never spend anything else towards the club when KK left and have been true to my word. I'm the type of shithouse who walks passed Sports Direct and passingly tell people not to go in. I shake my head at those buying pints and pies in the ground because I feel that's the only way to make him pay for what he has done to the people of our city. Hit him in the pocket. In reality, I am obsessed with the club and know my affiliation runs deeper than my anger towards one man. In summary, fuck knows, mate.
  18. It feels like the love of your life has just dumped you and you dont have a clue why. This website is one of my only salvations. It does though make it harder stepping into the real world full of half lifes who've never been to the match but say 'you're taking it too seriously' or 'don't worry about it'. I honestly believe only 1 in 10 fans actually give a fuck about the past or future of the club. If we get a result on saturday I know someone at works going to muse 'see, not that bad, eh?'. They just dont understand.
  19. One last fag eh Soemthing like that. Let's hope it's easier than when I kicked the old jungle tobacco circa' 96.
  20. That's down to one of two things, or both: i) he is so out of touch with modern football he doesn't know what's happening or, ii) those lapse's in pronounciation was a term of the contractual agreement, laid down in place by the other 2 cunts.
  21. I bought into the 3 year Ashley season ticket dream and feel I was sold well fucking short. Since handing over the best part of £1600 in one go I felt assured of value for money with Kevin Keegan in charge. Since that wonderful day I've seen Keegan, Hughton, JFCBK, Hughton, Shearer, Hughton and now fucking Alan Pardew. Well, that's it for me. I've spending no more of 'my childrens inheritance' lining his pockets. On hearing the news on monday afternoon I flushed my season ticket down the toilet, vowing never to step foot back in the place until 'he' is out of our football club. Upon realising my haste on tuesday morning I found out I'd need to pay an admin charge on the replacement ticket which I'm not prepared to do. I've got my mates season ticket for saturday and that's the last time I'm going. The ONLY reason I'm going is to look at the wonderful stadium from inside for one last time and direct as much of the burning hatred which is killing me inside towards the 3 absolute cunts. What the fucking hell has happened to our football club. I'm broken hearted and it kills me how little it means to most people who claim to be Newcastle United fans. One man, MAN, said to me at graft today, who claims to be a fan 'It's only a game' and 'I dont think Ashleys made a mistake here'. I could've easily bitten his ear off and fed it to him. I feel half the man I was this time last week. Sad, eh!
  22. I believe Pardew said similar about Ched Evans, iirc. That's another thing he's a tool who thinks it's funny to joke about rape. It's always clear that when a man starts a sentence with 'That's another thing ..', he's angry as fuck. I've lost about half a clem with worrying and angering myself about it, so maybe not all bad, eh?
  23. As in, the players confidence has been shattered under the leadership of Hughton? I think your lack of punctuation has had a negative impact on the message you're trying to portray.
