Newcastle v Arsenal Sat 13th August Kick Off 5.30pm

What's the Cabaye patter here like !? 90 minutes in a new league ,in a new team. Against Arsenal. And from what I saw playing in a team set up to be more defensive than attacking ? And you're writing him off ? Clearly a sniffer. -

Far too timid as a home team on first game of season. Players just werent pumped up at start of game (apart from an orange ST giving a clenched fist to Ggate n Leazes. Pardew spent most game stood arms folded as the uninspirational figure on side. Atmosphere poor too - nothing much to fire it. Colo was fantastic but wish he'd cajole n talk more on field. Best has to start ahead of Ameobi (for effort and attitude alone tbh) wants to be embarrassed him. A complete fuckin hoax. Humbolt Squid fastest player seen in while. Maybe game plan was to be defensive yday (as opposed to wotsisface the manager saying we'll be more attacking) but can't help think if that was a stoked team rather than a sulky, transitional Arsenal we could easily have been tonked. Players didn't seem too happy going off. Only barton half bothered to acknowledge Leazes. Jonas in particular was pretty animated. This Charming Man first post-match tune too which was a canny touch. That led nicely into Wenger's post match disgrace on motd "why must we always come up here and ave a player sent off because of joey barton" Hea - Arsene - lick the tip why don'tcha -

Jammily scored for a ticket through work, but on principle won't be handing any cash over when at ground . I will however use the facilities when I take a piss at half time - cheers Mike. Donating to Mark Allison in lieu of . A Cabaye goal from a direct freekick would tickle me tezzies and, if involved, I expect Barton to be a big influence - saw it so much last year with the 'if he turns up, the team do' and see it being same today . Said on here that we're seriously lacking leadership (the remaining ? barton aside) so interested to see how the new signings set their stall out in that respect too. Arsenal there for the taking but we're such an unknown quantity right now. A score draw . -
"we made what we believe was an excellent offer" "what people have to understand is, its very difficult but we're out there trying very hard to do the very best we can under the circumstances." "I've got some goats and a string of sausages" Blah-de-fuckin-blah

Very true, and according to reports by Lee Ryder in the EC today Pardew has insisted there would be no more departures this summer. Deano putting his teeth under the pillow there.

He's online with some fact-giving LiveChat with the Echo tomorrow He's the Fact Man Edit Signed up to talk to them before the deal was done it appears . "LIVERPOOL FC are on the verge of signing Newcastle United left back Jose Enrique - but just what type of player will LFC be getting for their £5.5m fee? To find out, log on to our live chat at noon on Friday with Lee Ryder, the Newcastle United writer from our sister paper, the Newcastle Chronicle. Lee will be giving his expert opinion on the Spaniard's strengths and weaknesses, who he has watched develop over the past few years, so it is a great opportunity for every Liverpool FC fan to ask him what they can expect." -

Trailer I saw of that Planet Of Apes made it look like an unintentional comedy ? The whole 'its some bloke in a bit hairy suit/Cadburys advert' looked pretty hard to escape ? -
To the nearest decimal point - what is the square root of the question in post #47 ?

Knew a lass from just outside of Huddersfield (bless her) that spoke in a broad local dialect who preceeded the 'basically' of every sentence with a '. . Well' Facially, she half closed her eyes as she would say it . An awful pairing of atributes that would shut my brain down as soon as she'd take breath .
