Two deals "as good as done" - One "surprising exit".

He's the best striker we've currently got, yet we're supposedly letting him go? Fuck me gently -

So you would rather see us go for the rest of your life winning nothing and spending tiny fucking amounts, than spend a bit bigger and win something? -

What other clubs do is not my concern. Newcastle should pay their players less than half of turnover. I would be proud of the club if it paid maximum 5,000 a week to an individual player - even if it meant getting relegated. You are not a fan if you want to see us getting relegated and buying shyte players -

sorry if some of these are on loan from Prem clubs or something, but this is my choice... Don Cowie (Watford) Albert Adomah (Bristol City) James Coppinger (Doncaster (and at this point I'd better mention that I know that he's already played for us, because of knuckle-dragging idiots who think that if you don't mention it, you can't know it and must be an idiot) Peter Wittingham (Cardiff City) Lewiss McGugan (Nottingham FOrest) Danny Graham (Watford) Shane Long (Reading) Luciano Becchio (Leeds) James Henry (Millwall) Chris Burke (Cardiff City) Jay Borthroyd (Cardiff) Max Gradel (Leeds) Billy Sharp (Doncaster) Andy King (Leicester) Steve Morrison (Millwall) Holy smokes, Batman -
Ashley's Transfer History thread

Of course he would. And Barton and every single player we've got and the extra 6 or 7 that Pardew wants to bring in to improve us. Fuck the wage bill, that will just materialise out of somewhere. Its like classic opposition politics. "We wont do the bad things, we'll only do the nice things"........Never any need to explain how it will be done, where the money will come from etc etc. Its quite frightening when you see that West Ham have just spent £16 million over 5 years on one player. I am sure someone will know the facts but I find it hard to believe the earnings p ercentage ratio today is anywhere near what it was in Sir Johns day. This is where Leazes always falls down. He can never explain how financially it can be done in todays climate. Great if you have a sheik but otherwise books need to be balanced. Yet again you come up with stuff thats totally irrelevant to the discussion. LM isnt arguing that we should buy them all and keep our existing players hes talking about strengthening the squad, not merely gambling on new "talent" while binning the known capable players. Team irrelevant strikes again How is it irrelevant that LM demands unlimited spending with no source? I think it's more ambition he's after tbh Something we're not getting -
Definitely give it a go pal. It's awesome. (On iPlayer) I've never seen Summer Heights High but if it's anything like Angry Boys. Result. Cheers I'm gonna go online and have a deeks at Summer Heights High again cos that was class and i'll have a watch of Angry Boys too You's have got my night sorted

Nay bother, well just have a team full of Perch's, Guthrie's and Best's because they try and are on a shyte wage -

Regarding wages, they are never gonna get reduced, and will just continue to spiral. 50,000 a week is usually the going rate for a good Premiership midfielder nowadays And you'll struggle to find anyone who gave more for Newcastle than Kevin Nolan -

Yesh. (Had to be done) No, no it didn't. Fucking Hell alex It did. For shure. Have you heard his interview on Sky Sports about the Forest job? The bugger still has a dutch twang to his voice, the daft git -
He's one of the worst players in the U21's yet is the most expensive, i'd rather have Cleverley etc over him for a 1/6th of the price

I reckon Williamson is on about £10k a week tbh. Also, Alan Smith would tend to disprove your second point. There's be plenty of other clubs who would want to buy Nolan into his 30s though, especially in the Championship. Smith, on the other hand... less desirable than the Elephant man. Aye but if we need to progress we should be keeping the Nolan's of this world alot more than the Williamson's I think Smith will be sold this summer, mainly because he's basically been put on the Transfer and wasn't sold because everyone had forgot about him and mainly being turd I agree, apart from the bit about Smith going (I hope you're right on that score though). I don't think giving Nolan a 5 year deal on £50k per week is wise though. A compromise would've been nice but I suspect the club were more than happy for him to join West Ham. I think we all hope I'm right about Smith going, but i think he'll definitely be on his way, the club will be trying to push him out more than ever now and his agent will probably do some aswell. I reckon it might be into August before we sell him like because of his wages being a stumbling block and it'll take him a while to realise that he has to take a hefty drop. Was he on 40k or 50k? Because i don't think he'd have been that bothered(If on 40k) to keep it that way and then extend his contract, and then midway through the contract someone would still be willing to take him off our hands for a fee, other than giving him a 3 year contract and letting him go for nowt IMO -

Williamson got a 5 year contract and isnt he late twenties??? It's not as though if we did offer him a 5 year contract he'd be here for 5 years, if he wasn't getting in the team then he would have been sold and we would have built a better team around him and be in a better position than we are now to sell him -

I meant it as in Stoke buying a bunch of Sunderland players and Jones being the only decentish one theyve signed from them But overall Stoke have a way better team than Sunderland, as do we, the only player i could see from Sunderland getting into our team is Gyan
