  1. If Colo left, getting a fee of 7mil for a 29 (i think) year old is good. We would be losing our best CB and Shawcross would be the perfect replacement. Younger, talented and would be on lesser wages even with an improvement on what he's on at Stoke. As for Stoke being in the europa league...so fuck. One year....they wont be next year. We can offer him much more than that. We are Newcastle United remember. We shouldnt be selling our best players though, Colo's been a revelation and we shouldnt be even considering bids for him when weve got him here and is solid and consistent We shouldnt be thinking about money either, whether it be wages or whatever Plus he'd cost alot more than £12 million if Jones went for 16-20 and Smalling for £10 million, Stokie will be wanting £15 mill+
  2. I've seen some of the gameplay trailers and it looks woeful, like a poor mans Left 4 Dead
  3. It would disrespect all the working class fans Howay man Nick, think!
  4. West Ham have nowhere near the potential of Newcastle but sadly it looks like they may now have more ambition And yes it would make Spurs a selling club - Redknapp was spot on yesterday when asked about Modric he basically said he wants to keep him at all costs and stated that if you want to be a top club then you dont sell your best players and that if you want to keep your top players then you have to show them that you have the ambition. Can you imagine Pardew saying that? Too busy having a double nosh on Ashley and Llambias' ickle tinkles
  5. LEEEEROOOOOOY That goes quite well with your avatar
  6. Is it the normal thing now for Macam's to come on here and embarass themselves nowadays?
  7. The main and perhaps only semi-realistic hope of someone new winning it is Murray. Lump on. Djokovic hasn't won it either. Better chance than Murray imo. I've had a little nibble myself like. Really fancy another Nadal v Federer final tbh. If all four get through to the quarters will it be Federer V Djokovic and Nadal V Murray? I havent seen the standings or how it'll pan out yet Aye, no.2 seed v3 & 1v4 respectively. Edit: Federer's no.3 actually this year but the same applies re: the line-ups. If that's the case, I can see a Nadal/Djokovic final, unless Federer pulls out his miraculous grass court form, because he hasn't hit the heights he's used to unfortunately, he's such a magical player when in top form

  9. I've just got a feeling that Djokovic might sneak an upset in there, his forms been awesome, albeit not on grass. I can feel it in me watta that he's ganna dee it
  10. Debating whether it might be worth a punt on Djokovic to win Wimbo
  11. The big Two-Oh I hate not being regarded as a teen anymore
  12. No he didn't want more money, he wanted a longer contract (You Macam)
  13. Forced out Nolan??? Don't talk nonsense. They couldn't agree terms, meaning Nolan wanted them to better West Ham's ridiclously high offer of 50,000 a week, and Newcastle said, sorry, forget it! I can see why Mike is now not unpopular at all, when the Freddyites come out with bull like that. Since when was refusing to pay someone 50,000 a week the same as forcing them out??? He wanted a longer contract, you Macam
  14. Do you keep your shoes in a cupboard? Aye, you got something to say aboot it like?
  15. Get with the times, Roger. At the moment, Mike is probably more popular than Freddie ever was. Wey fuck off man
  16. cheaper so its "good business". Interesting that despite the mirth surrounding Jordan Henderson [until Liverpool finish miles higher in the league next season], Liverpool see him as a more worthwhile acquisition for that fee they paid than a free transfer player ? They've been burnt recently by injury prone players who arrived on apparent frees. They were heavily compensated for costing 'nothing' and so with Marveaux no doubt they didn't want to take that chance so offered lower wages. He won't have failed a medical with them but they slipped that little doozy to the media because it will satiate their fans who will feel they've dodged a bullet. Perhaps they have, only time will tell. We've obviously paid more (or had better incentives loaded into our contract). Like them we've been severely burnt by injury prone players, but we have an owner who likes to take a gamble. A gamble like disbanding a successful side because you think you can make some cash and lower your outgoings by doing so. I'm hoping the gamble doesnt backfire like, but it's a fucking incredibly bad gamble to take IMO
  17. I see he's re-tweeting most tweets about Henderson being shyte
  18. You really are a miserable depressing cunt. Yeah CT, you big meaniepants
  19. I don't think Parsnip has a say whatsoever in any transfer, in or out. He's the coach i.e. coach the players whoever they are and has to either like it or walk. Any other manager in the League would walk if they were having to do the job Pardews doing, he's got no say in Transfers in or out i reckon
  20. Were not gonna have a first eleven to start with, if you want rid of those ffs
  21. The sponsors minging Looks as though it's smiling at you ffs
