N'Zogbia ready to snub Liverpool for Newcastle
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Dafydd's topic in Newcastle Forum
Before he re-joined us when we were in the Championship didn't he say he'd play for Sunderland if they came calling -
Divn't usually swear much mesel, only really in mates company when theyre talking Bull, I band about the old "Wey f*ck off man" but thats about it, i divn't see it as a necessity and i'm not a lover of typing out swearwords either i just usually hoy in some random word here and there And i see the C word as a big no-no Basically i'm just a massive pansie when it comes to swearing

Transfer Deadline Day 2011

Shirley this Wickham kid would be mad to go to Liverpool? He'd only be second choice striker. Daft, if true. That's what i was thinking, but why would Liverpool even go in for him, not as though a striker should be there main priority It'd be daft on both parties if they sign him -
I wonder if he'll do it in that Dutch accent?

Good coach as well (Man Utd). Probably well shot of the toxic media coverage he'd get here though. I think the England job's basically took a massive dump on his CV like and many teams will stay away from him because of the Media coverage and reaction of fan's I wouldn't mind seeing him here tbh i reckon he's a good manager and could do a good job with us or any other Prem team It was absolutely ridiculous that he was even offered the job. It was far too early in his career. And for the fact he was Sven's right hand man and the FA were looking to appoint someone who was already part of that failed set-up A few years away from that job and building up his CV would have done him the world of good and his future prospects

On Twitter last night it was saying that Sunderland are interested but he looks certain to join Liverpool. Also Tottenham are supposedly wanting Gyan in any possible move for Crouch -

Kevin Nolan signs for West Ham United
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to PaulR9's topic in Newcastle Forum
Spot on. Not really, if you went to games you would see he links up midfield pretty well, just because he lacks pace doesnt mean he just goes around plodding about -
-
Basically just what you've said really "Everybody needs a nutter in the middle, everybody needs a nutter, Everybody needs a nutter in the middle, everybody needs a nutter, his name is Joey Barton and he loves the Toon, his name is Joey Barton and he loves the Toon" and repeat Just a shame we're gonna be hearing alot less chanting and atmosphere next season, it'll truly hit home when i gan to the first game like
-
I wonder since Kruls on the international scene now that other teams will be taking a serious look at him if he's not our first choice for the first few games?
-
Matata? I think that Joey Barton song is quite funny. Same here, it's good when it gets gan in the corner, its just the fact some little charv wannabe had it on the back of his shirt with the picture of Barton punching Pedersen. It would have been canny if he never had the picture on mind. I can remember walking to one of the games and some lad had (In not even the proper Premiership lettering and numbering) WHO 8 ALL THE COWIES
-
Don't know if anyone else seen it in the Leazes corner, i think it was the Wolves game, were this young lad had i think "everyone needs a nutter" or something like that and the picture of Barton punching Pedersen. Proper fuckin cringeworthy
-
He's not the only one tbh

Matata?

aye, lasted 97 minutes http://www.insideworldsoccer.com/2011/04/d...er-just-97.html http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/ap...s-twitter-abuse http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...t-of-abuse.html http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...se-2274961.html http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/blog/dirty-...?urn=sow-wp1153 Horrible that like, being given stick off your own fans, reminds is of when Shola used to get booed from our own fans, fair enough he played shyte, but theres no need to single them out, I used to hate being in the stadium when it happened
-
Wasn't Gibson the one that shut his Twitter account down because Man U fans were ripping the piss out of him for being shyte?
-
I used to love TrueLAD when i first found it, but now it's just annoying with the amount of shyte stories people are putting on trying to sound like a LAD
-
Get Jo on loan He bangs them in and you should be able to get him for a second season on loan then a free after that

I think "Love the club" is a bit strong like, I think they'll be stuck in the same(ish) predicament Carroll was, were they're stuck in limbo not knowing where they stand with the club after serving us brilliantly for the past couple year, and they'll realise they will need to move if they are to carry on playing football and to match thier ambitions Love probably is a bit strong like. The thing is both have waxed lyrical about the club and the area especially Nolan. He doesnt seem the kinda guy to bullshit neither. Maybe they will feel pressured by the board in the same was as Carroll did but the same was as that my opinion is the same. Do they deserve the contract they are wanting? Carroll had just signed a new deal and stamped his feel and the club too the correct stance by refusing it. Its a matter of principle and giving in to player power would set a precedant. Nolan and Barton are in a similar situation...both want new deals but deals which arent justified. Personally i would not offer an extension to Nolan...his current deal takes him to 31 and is already looking leggy but still a decent option. Barton should be offered a one year extention giving him the same legnth of contract as Nolan. Both want more than what is best for the club really....which is why i said if they do truely "feel for the club" they should do what is right. I do think Nolan really likes the club, the fans, the place, but when the sounds are being made when his massive contribution to the team have been for nowt, and are in total limbo then do you really expect them to wat to stay, when they still have a good few years of football in them? IMO opinion they warrant a contract and both are justified, not only for their offering on and off the pitch, but when we don;t offer 2 of our best players contracts they deserve, other players who are here or maybe come here will feel as though the board are only looking at them as mercenaries who only serve the club for when they see fit Tiote had only been here a few month and he got a new contract, so i think it wasn't down to player power, just Ashley seen the £35 million more than he seen the potential in building a team around Carroll
