  1. I'd be more willing to take a punt on him, he gets goals whenever he plays Howay man, be positive n aal that
  2. Do we have to be one or the other like? Surely theres a happy medium, I refuse to be an 'ite' of either of those to idiots. A poll would sort this little conundrum out
  3. Who else they going to blame. They've offered him a new contract to stay, theres only Enrique to blame if he goes. (And fair enough if he wants to play CL football) Should still make his mind up one way or the other so a replacement can be acted on. With regard to Barton its already public knowledge that he has cooked his own goose by having too many things to say against the board whether that be statements to the press or talk-ins. The blokes a fool on that score. Not really, he'll be waiting to see if the clubs ambition matches his and to see what the contract situation really is like regarding other players, most likely As that twat Adrian Durham said the other night (and for the first time ever, I agreed with him): "I'm sick of hearing about players talking about clubs matching their ambition, what that really means is: I want more money". Aye but being the best LB in the Prem surely deserves a better wage? If it doesnt were asking for Bigger clubs to come in for him I the club matching his ambition as him getting a better wage and the club showing they are wanting to push on, by buying beter players and giving our core/best players contracts

  5. I wouldn't see it as being paid off yet, in 12 month time i think we'll see the truer extent of the Carroll deal and whether it was good or not
  6. Some would say the last two were exceptionally good. Last summer brought us Tiote and Ben Arfa while most agreed the January business was very shrewd leaving us in this strong position to rebuild that we are now in. I think the majority agreed that the Carroll money was to good to refuse. Theres a poll by Stevie on it. That deal has left us in a very strong position this window. But it didn't leave us in a strong position last window, thats the point And it remains to be seen whether that strong position for this window will be taken advantage of
  7. Did ye dee a Marlon King like!??!?!? A Marlon King?
  8. After a night out I Found mesel deein' the deed with some woman at least twice me age round the back of a Lidl store, within seconds of finishing it hit home what the fuck I just did and in a flash wipped me jeans up and started pegging it yem
  9. According to Balague Real and Barca are/were looking at him, so I highly doubt were looking at him or that he'd be interested
  10. Definitely cant complain, we need to keep kids tickets as low as possible but using it as the excuse to silence the vocal fans is not on. Losing the singing section could be a bigger threat to the season than losing Barton or Nolan tbh. If it backfires then you could need to reduce those tickets even further. One of the worst mistakes theyve made getting rid of the singing section to spite us
  11. but if they replace him with sub standard players, it isn't a good deal ? If Liverpool have got the quality player, and are moving out sub standard players to accomodate him, which is the best policy ? Obviously it isn't a good deal if they replace with sub standard players, but IMO Henderson wasn't even that good, so solely looking at the deal and who got the best out of it, i'd say Sunderland did, as they are looking to spend all that money and re-invest it in the squad, something we should be doing with the Carroll transfer money and should be doing what Liverpool are doing and showing ambition with that money
  12. Sunderland got a good deal for them mostly because alot of their players have went back to their own clubs after their loans and Sunderland needed the money to replace them permanently, so they needed to sell to fund moves for other players.
  13. Alot of teams do that though with 4-3-3 because its alot more fluid than a 4-4-2, but if we buy him as a striker and play him up top by himself for a run of games and have him as our main goal threat we'd struggle, we need 2 strikers plus him
  14. So friends is the answer I suppose. If i hadn't brusied ribs atm i would've headed down to fill in for ya! Cheers Ant, ended up getting a professional footballer to fill in for us! Ajax_Andy is seething tbh He's banned anyway aint he? The FA upheld his 3 game ban and added on a 5K fine, we won't be seeing him in a while like Soppy apologies get yi nee were
  15. He'll fit right in with Rooney and Giggs the dorty porvorts
  16. Tbh i think he's waiting on solid interest from other more ambitious clubs than us, that's why there is constant speculation and no movement The interest (apart from us is all speculation) and i think he's waiting on a bigger club to show interest like our's and if none show it i think he'll settle for us but even if we sign him we still need two strikers
