I think "Love the club" is a bit strong like, I think they'll be stuck in the same(ish) predicament Carroll was, were they're stuck in limbo not knowing where they stand with the club after serving us brilliantly for the past couple year, and they'll realise they will need to move if they are to carry on playing football and to match thier ambitions
-
Enrique and Barton, at least.
-
We'd all love to get things sorted as quickly as possible and i'm hoping there isn't major upheaval because we need to keep the core players we've got and build players around them, only then can we push on. I don't see us doing any better than we did this season if we get rid of the major players of last season
-
and you can't expect an agent not to shake all the tree's to see where the biggest wad is Window hasn't even (officially) opened yet! I kna, I meant until it closed Very few deals get done this side of the transfer window, so people just need to be patient and not as ayatollah says obsess over every detail going So just be patient
-
When you compare i with other transfers it's hardly been dragging on and theres still 2-3 month of the transfer window to go, so i wouldnt expect anything to get wrapped up ASAP

Sunderland are lucky to get Ngog for him, he's shyte

Nolan Rejects New Contract
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to DubiousBobcat's topic in Newcastle Forum
Because we'll get another Barton/Enrique scenario, that's why we're offering him one now. -
should really have added "from what he used to be" at the end of me last post, but it's usually something that happens when you gan into depression and that, any idea what the main reason was for the depression?
-
Getting rid of these players is going to have a negative effect on the other good players we have and any future players we bring in, especially when we're getting rid of players who have gotten us to this position we're in the first place and are being fucked off for shyte reasons, when we should be building teams around and with these players, not without them.

They should sort the bastardin' servers out before they start bashing on with anything else

Best programme on tele IMO Season 1 and 4 were jizzworthy Hopefully season 6 will be unreal
-
I think he only scored 1 in 20 games last season, I'd rather stay well away
-
He can sign, just not come to us until the transfer window opens, then he's officially a Newcastle player

I think he's generally best in midfield 3 but he's been able to play in a 2 because of Tiote's workrate. When he was at his best at Bolton he played in a 3 and this season and last season he's done better as one of a two in a 4-4-2. He's not a classic playmaker / no. 10 by any stretch of the imagination. I agree his engine isn't great which is why he needs legs around him. He's never looked comfortable to me when he plays that little bit further forward. I accept it's a subtle difference between a no. 10 and the head of a diamond in a 4-4-2/being the furthest forward in midfield 3 but it's a significant one. I think you're right in that he may see his opportunities limited next season. That's if Barton stays and Cabaye is a success. I think Nolan's a canny player and a good captain like but I think he's had a bit of a purple patch this year and he'll struggle to maintain that form anyway. Totally agree, i don't think the role behind the striker suits him, especially at Premiership level, he never had the amount of influence on a game behind Carroll at the start of the season than he did in midfield alongside Tiote, due to the oppositions CB easily picking him up as he was one of the most forward men on the field, but with him playing CM he's alot harder to keep control of and can make better runs without being picked up, that's why he got the goals he did,a nd having Tiote doing the dirty work next to him to cover him when he did go forward also aided his game. If anyone is going to be sacrificed for Cabaye it is going to be Barton, whether it's him being sold or i wouldnt be surprised if Pardew was forced to not play him, but i don't see a player who will definitely be leaving us being sacrificed for a exceptional captain who looks like he's going to stay tbh So play Cabaye out on the right? I just dont see Nolan starting much next season. I imagine we'll be playing more of a 4-3-3 and having him alongside Nolan and Tiote in the middle
-
When will we wear it though? its just got a little less white on than our home shirt
-
I think his most likely destination is PSG Theres quotes on Sky Sports which suggest it will be either Valencia or PSG but the Valencia deal is unlikely as they cant match the valuation And he said he'd quite like a move to Paris aswell

Are you the lad that sits on the stool near the ticket machine? If so I think I seen you when I went to sort out my council tax. You looked sick as fuck. Yup, that's me, looking cheery as heck as I have to sit 9-til-5 on crap wages, deein' nowt and having people get frustrated at me at things which aren't in my control But i've only gone and got a desk now, check iz owt now lad

I think having Barton playing ahead of him who isn't a natural RM hasn't helped him in some cases, he seems to get left alone down the right and doesn't look comfortable when he's 1-on-1 with a defender
