  2. My summer trainers, comfiest things ever, also have some of the SpeedCat ones that the f1 drivers wear, but these are the best
  3. Fucking hell it's like the battle of Herzogenaurach in here , with the Adi-fags getting ott again
  4. Adidas are the trainer aficionados choice man. More like guiness. Lots of shite but the real deal is well appreciated. Adidas is Carling. Nike is Guiness if that's your way of putting it, and Puma is a European lager, similar to Adidas, but everything it does is about 1000 times better
  5. Trying to be the next entertainers? With Shola up front? What?
  6. I think that has something to do with it actually Barney, not fully sure on it. And Howmanheyman, to be fair American Football is the most tactical sport I know of, all sports have tactics, and its not like rugby, that's the least tactical sport ever, saying American Football is only people throwing it would be like discounting football tactics because its just kicking a ball Fuck off man. It's a pretty tactical game, there's like 15 calls just to get the ball back in play. American Football's getting abit more popular over here, but it'll never be bigger then rugby. Gateshead Senators are full of failed rugby players, they can't keep up with the pace of the game, so they go play a game when they can get a rest over couple of minutes. If I had to stop for a rest that often I'd be ashamed of myself, honestly I would. It's not a rest, it's so they can decide which play to call. I hate rugby. For one fact, rugby fans are so rare that they are the hipsters of the sporting world. Whenever I come across a rugby fan "You like football, it's for puffs, all us real men like and play rugby". I don't give a shit how "hard" you want to be, your sports shit to watch, it's not tactical and theres a reason the Rugby leagues over here aren't cared about. Then they automatically think they're better than you because of their "manly" sport that's bordering on homoerotic. Rugby may be "pretty" tactical, but it's still the least tactical sport i've ever seen. I know tens of NFL fans my age. I know 1 real rugby fan, and that's rugby union too, which is the least tactical form of rugby.

  8. Adidas piss me off. All these different "styles", they all look the bloody same. People buying adidas is like going and asking for a carling at a bar, taking a safe option because you know eff all about trainers/beer
  9. Do you like fishing? I only enjoy it when the amount of fish I catch is in direct comparison with the pounds I spend, Monkeys Fist I only have a stick, but I caught a goldfish, that's me up the happiness league
  10. They'll put extreme in front of anything now. "Extreme reading with JK Rowling"
  11. And for the first time ever i've been made to feel young on this forum
  12. That's actually pretty smart! It's bigger than rugby nowadays amongst people my age, not that that's hard, but there is quite a buzz amongst those of us that don't have a "It's not British so I don't like it" mentality

Channel 4 started putting it on when the channel first started and in those days this country was obsessed with the US, even more than today if you can believe it. Anyway, it was the in thing so people watched it and after a while it slowly dawned on us that the sport was pure fucking gash. Well i thought it, anyway. I don't like rugby, but I'd sooner watch it than its US cousin, anyday. Then again 90000 people turn up each year at Wembley, Football is the worlds greatest sport, but American Football is a second, daylights in between, but the pure passion, skill and tactics involved are just awe-inspiring There's thousands turn up round the country to watch Take That. I'll say no more on it. You like it and we all like different things. We'll just have this chat, and after ten minutes both agree that I was right. I can accept a different opinion, but not someone who thinks they're Brian Clough

  16. Good teachers are respected, by even the stupid kids. Bad ones (majority) aren't and run amok. Bad teachers help create those little fuckers. Secondary school teaching is the hardest, but the ones in Sixth Form etc get an easy enough ride, and they're still wank. Obviously i'm not saying this about all teachers, but my point is, the vast majority of them are awful (from a student who isn't one of those nobheads that lives to give them a hard time.) I just hope University gives me good professors. Hmm, not sure I agree with that, not entirely anyways. I put the majority of the poor behaviour from kids down to a complete lack of discipline from their parents or the system, teachers seem to have their hands tied today, though that in itself does breed a standard of teacher who isn't firm enough. Obviously, but teaching standards do contribute, it's not the be all and end all, but it does have an effect. For example, I was in the top sets so didn't get many of these kids in my classes. However in year 9 my school had a weird system of mixing the groups for the "lesser" subjects (the ones not English, Maths and Science). For most lessons the other kids brought the lessons down completely, but I had a great RE teacher, who was firm but didn't patronize and was good at teaching. I'd get out of every RE lesson having learnt something, and it's not like RE is a subject kids like is it? Lazy teachers see bad classes, and think "Fuck it, let's chill out and let em go wild". Good teachers see them and try to interest them, and not let them get out of control. The latter is a dying breed.

  18. Basically Armchair. They're striking because the Players Union (Yes they have a union :|) and the owners couldn't agree on a collective bargaining agreement. At first I pitied the players because the owners do shit all over them (then again they get payed insane amounts of money as it is) but now it's just stupid for everyone involved. Yeah NBA is locked out too. You watch the MLB follow next year... good job the NCAA is college based and that will never lockout
  19. Just finished Sixth Form. Teachers are the laziest workers i've ever come across (obviously not that i've had a lot of working experience ). My history teacher just copied wikipedia, put it in booklets and made us "revise" it, but she did have to mark essays every 2 weeks, how did she do it! English teachers are the only ones I respected. 70% of teachers don't deserve the money they get, and that's from someone who knows more about it than most private sector (and biased public sector) employees like.
  20. Absolutely bullshit this hasn't been sorted out yet. Players Union are just as bad as the owners tbh. They should give the players more money, but make the season 18 games, simple.
  21. Hang on, I noose a joke about McQueens death would come up eventually
  22. Halfway through the season and they're unveiling 3rd shirts? Exact same thing Sounders did last year, wtf
  23. Haha really? Why? Aye i'm not bothered about pictures or anything, just with some of the bastards on here they'd tell the background, find out were I live and deliver a shit through my front door
