This is my worry to be honest. I think we'd stay up next season doing this though.... its just the future after that which would be grim. I always try to give new players an equal chance though... and if Bothroyd can shut me up by scoring a hatful, then i'll be just as happy as if a Gameiro or a Carroll scored the same amount.

And Di Matteo is Italian.... The point is, if you did it on points by each manager over the entire course of the season I presume Hodgson would smash it... if not, then I literally don't get how we can compare managers over an entire season who have only been at their clubs a few months. It'd be like saying Liverpool are the 2nd best team in England because they've won more leagues overall than Chelsea/Arsenal/88 clubs not themselves or Man U, even though at the minute they're not as good.

Right, now Swansea are in the playoff final, is it just me who cares massively about Reading winning tomorrow? I really don't want to see an all-Welsh playoff final, or either of them in the Premier League for that matter. Shame Forest haven't gone up either, massive soft spot for them. Just goes to show how great our youth system is. I mean I know the lack of ambition this shows our board have etc etc etc... but can we ignore that for once and just appreciate the way our club is bringing up some excellent youth.

Where on earth have any Van Der Wiel/Huntelaar rumours ever come from? ... VDW is top class but has Champs League football and Huntelaar... why would he come here!
