Turns 27 in March, so this is it basically, his big year. Realistically might be his last chance of going to a World cup, and his contracts up in 18 months, great opportunity for him to get move to a big Champions League club this summer. Really needs to be showing his undoubted talent more consistently now, and if it doesn't happen for him this year, it probably never will. Love watching him but whereas a couple of years back I'd have expected huge success if he'd have gone to an Arsenal or a Tottenham, now I'm not so sure.

I expect Chelsea to win it, Arsenal/Man City 2nd/3rd in either order and Man Utd to take 4th. Tottenham to get 5th and a cup, enough to keep AVB liked and in a job.

Tom Thumb?!? Surely too old and fictional to validate any evidence now, the creepy little scoundrel.

On the pitch, I like his policy of buying young players with potential to improve/scouting for value, technically strong players on the continent. That approach with further investment to go for a higher caliber in that mold when they become available, I could accept as a decent direction for us to take. Maybe 4 or 5 Gnat's hairs away on that front. Everything else - His attitude towards the fans, his lack of ambition, his cheapening of the brand image, his constant barrage of ill decisions, his ties with Lucifer- is why I'm not particularly a fan.
-
But then, he might.
-
His initial form? 13 in 14? I'd be genuinely surprised if he scores more than 15 league goals in an entire season with us.
-
He won't.

What midtable team isn't inconsistent? You only tend to be consistent if you're at either end of the table. And games of football will have vastly differing halves until the end of time.

With Cabaye/current Lampard debatable, not one of the rest of our starting line up would get into theirs, not one. Point today would be great.

Saw the new Jackass Borat style flick, I laughed heartily. Good switch your brain off for a bit and giggle movie. Although I hadn't seen the trailer and knew nothing about it so every big moment came as a shock to me, probably loses a lot if you've seen the punchlines before the setup. -

Always disliked Superman as a character, it's like they've asked a 5 year old to design a superhero, just shitloads of unconnected powers thrown together with no particular theme. And he's just so bland. -

Goals: 8 in 36 PL last year 0 in 8 PL this year Use in General Play: Non-existent Not like he's some young prospect either, snap the hand off anyone foolish enough to bid around what we paid for him before it's too late (as if it needs to be said, with the caveat that we'd buy a replacement)

Think peoples perceptions of our players talents/ceiling of ability are a step or two above of the reality. Sissoko's never been much of a goalscorer so I think you can forget about the goal threat he posed in his first few games, his touch is a bit iffy too, but if he cuts out the sloppiness with his passing and manages to impose himself more regularly in the way you'd expect his physique would allow him to, he can be a solid premiership centre mid for us. Just can't see him ever being more than that. Would like to stop hearing people say 'They're French internationals!', as though having a handful of caps for a weak France side should mean they're tearing up the Premier League. Cabaye is ace though. And Cisse is shit. No touch, no use in build up, not even making decent runs anymore.

Can I just say how nice it is that it's even up for debate though

Moyes teams tend to start poorly and finish strong, Man United tend to end strongly, still think they'll end up top 4.

Ah, thought Cuckold would be a bit mean.

Suspended for the derby - if Colo/Taylor are still injured we're going to be in a bit of trouble

I know 'Chez' from borstal - He's never strayed further than Harrogate the pizza-faced fantasist.

Yep entertaining read as usual. Sick of the 'Well I'm not that arsed, we'll just get knocked out' patter already, miserable twats.

Don't be afraid to do something absolutely outrageous.

How much liquid are we talking to sufficiently dissolve that?
