What numbers were you expecting?

Don't mind multiplayer DLC or extra unrelated content e.g. Red Dead or GTA4 but it I like to feel when I'm investing in a game that I'm going to get a full, rounded, complete story, extra story related content instantly turns me off to a series e.g. Assassin's Creed. Takes the piss that you don't know what the DLC is going to be until after you've bought the game, it's like putting your time effort and money into reading a snazzy new 1000 page hardback only to be told at the end that there's an extra 50 pages to fill intentionally left plot holes, and you'll have to pay the equivalent of a complete, classic older book for the privilege.

I don't want anyone managing this club, that would be stupid enough to want to manage this club...

So you'd prefer he didn't come out and say their effort was unacceptable and make them train harder? Or would that just have you on here ranting that that's what he should have done? The whole fans thing is obviously aimed at putting a bit of pressure on the players, hopefully make them have a think if that level of effort is ever acceptable when that many peoples happiness is dependant on your performance, regardless of what's to play for. Their motivation has gone, through a combination of lack of ambition in the market, being out of the cups and any footballer with half a brain seeing top 4 is out of reach. The extra training probably won't change that but he's got to do something, weird to think it's just a PR stunt and he isn't genuinely worried about how bad the next couple of months could get.

Took the bold decision to go see American Hustle tonight instead of watching the game - great choice. 9/10. But honestly can't figure out how much of that is for Amy Adams/Jen Law and the frankly wonderful work by the costume department, really top notch attire.

Well he's not a shit bastard is he, he has good games and bad games, he's just an average premier league centre back. Get's more stick because he is so clearly a giant phallus as a person and his fuck ups are often frustrating because they're so blindingly stupid. MYM's had his good games and his bad games too. Like I say based on what I've seen I'd pick MYM, if only because he'll likely (hopefully) improve the more he adapts to the league, whereas we know Taylor's not going to improve much now. Just saying the difference between their performances hasn't been huge, so I don't see it as nuts that he goes with Taylor, considering we have no idea how they've each been performing in training. With Cabaye going he might think Taylor being his enthusiastic and outspoken self is useful to have on the pitch too.

I'd prefer he played MYM with Willo but we are all basing our opinions on what we see in the games, we've no idea what goes on in training. Maybe Taylor is consistently outperforming MYM in training.

Yeah he wasn't too bad, decent link up play. Not the best two games to judge him on really, maybe Villa will give us a better sense of what he can bring.
