Yeah it's certainly not less popular, just not reasonable financially for most under 25s to buy a season ticket. Could argue it may have the effect that some will feel less strongly bonded to the club. I've not lived in the area for a while now and go to a lot less games, you still care deeply but it doesn't quite feel the same.

If i ever go to a high street game shop, it's to have a bit of a browse of pre-owned games and see if they've anything that grabs me. Didn't watch the reveal so don't know the details, but if there's any sort of way that they make pre-owned purchasing less desirable I think the high street shops will suffer massively.

Can't speak for the 50's/60s, but he's certainly got a case for right wing at Man Utd in say the last 30 years. Ronaldo being the obvious one who is without doubt better than Beckham ever was, but putting Ronaldo left wing in place of Giggs isn't too outlandish. Giggs having more longevity but theres an argument (which not everyone will agree with) of Beckham being better at his peak. Was the better player in the treble year imo.

Well sometimes judgement of the past can get a little hazy. Fact of the matter is he was twice considered by 'coaches and captains of international teams' as the second best player in the world. Totti never made it into the top 3. I know it's a little patronising to say, but if he was born in Italy and spent most of his career at Milan I think most people would be just saying how great a player he was right now. Not an all time great (e.g. a top 20 player of all time), but a wonderful passer/crosser of the ball and I don't think it would be outrageous to suggest he was exceptional (2nd best in the world ) at his peak.

I'm quite a slim guy (5 10, about 12 stone) but out of shape at the moment, and I fancy getting myself in order. Just want to be more toned and fit, e.g. more a footballers body than a bodybuilders. Any good websites/diets/exercise plans to recommend? Ideally stuff that you can do without signing up to a gym, and I sometimes get quite bad back ache (makes it difficult to do long distance running) so any tips on exercise which is appropriate/inappropriate for that would be great.
