    Holidays

Was hoping for a lads holiday in July, but not happening now as my mates either can't afford it or are going away with their girlfriends. So probably nothing
  2. I'd have thought Fergie would have other things on his mind at the moment. Like winning the league and the CL...

    Owen

I think he'll stay. Unless one of the big four come in for him, which I doubt they will, I can't see why he'd want to leave. A move to someone like City/Everton/Spurs would be a sideway step imo.
  4. Or someone else. Such as Faye. Sell Taylor to Blackburn tbh...
  5. i'm sure you said something different, something about stopping in darras hall on Saturday night Don't want to tempt fate
  6. Out in town Saturday night so I'll probably still be pissed when the pubs open anyway Will definitely need a couple more to calm the nerves though
  7. 2-1 Man Utd now. Cracking free-kick from Hargreaves

    Trivia

Dwight Yorke? Was he relegated with Birmingham? I think so. But he hasn't won the UEFA cup so thats him out.
  9. bullshit - along with Berbatov, I think he's top of the shopping list for each of the top 4. He's proving himself in the Prem - minimum risk... I'd love to think we could attract him but out of our league IMO... Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea definitely wouldn't take him. He's not good enough for them, not by a good distance either. Liverpool is a possibility.. but even then I wouldn't bank on it. I think a lot of people see a player excelling at a lower club and they assume that this player would benefit from playing for a bigger club. I think Bentley wants to move because Blackburn don't share his (or Mark Hughes') ambition. We clearly do. I think you'd be surprised... Reminds me very much of Rob Lee in his younger days - showed tremendous promise when he was on Arsenal's books and I just think he'll get better and better. IMO he's a far better talent than SWP (even when he as at his peak). Man Utd wouldn't want him as they have Ronaldo, unless they're going to use him more central or on the left. Can't see Wenger fancying him either after his comments in the press recently re Wallcott leaving to get first-team football. Chelsea and Liverpool could possibly be interested though...
  10. Why not? I've never been his biggest fan but he's been one of the best CB's in the league this season
  11. Thought Barton was shocking tonight. Actually thought Geremi did alright second half, apart from his shite corner-taking
  12. So we would have beaten Arsenal away, Man Utd at home, and Liverpool away under Big Sam? I doubt it.
  13. To be honest I think we could do with Viduka in the side right now. Yes he's fat and lazy, but with Owen out of form, Viduka is the type of player who can create something out of nothing.
  14. My Dad's mate is a Barnsley fan and for the past 5 or so years he's been claiming that Barnsley will be playing European football in 5 years time. He may be proved right
  15. They're gorgeous! As are the steak and kidney puddings
  16. Music Rescue Not sure if it will work but it lets you copy songs from your iPod to your desired folder. Only problem being, unless you purchase it, it gives you an annoying message after every 50 songs, which isn't ideal if you have 10k songs. Not sure if anapod explorer would be worth a go too?

  18. I rate Boothroyd. Not meaning to be disrespectful to Watford but I reckon he could really flourish at a so called "bigger" club.

    Drug abuse

I know the type, you used to see so many Michael Barrymore lookalike types in Ritzy off their nut when I was a youngun. Wish I never started doing pills though meself, cos they fucked me up for a long time, first one I did was the best. I've got mixed feelings about doing them to be honest. Had some great times but I did far too many. I used to take them sometimes but decided it wasn't worth the risk. Had some class nights but was put off by all the stories you heard of people dieing with them etc. Done coke and the likes also but haven't touched anything for 9-12 months now
  20. Don't think so like I like him but he's massively over-rated by some.

    Mike Ashley

I wish I had stopped reading there. ... indeed. Don't understand the logic in the reasoning at all. so are you saying Mike Ashley has no influence over manager an players? If you are a manager or player and the guy that can basically decide your future is sat with the supporters week in week out listening to their gripes, and th manager/players know this....surely to god this is de-motivating. He should be up in the directors box, seen and not heard, quietly supporting manager and players. He is trying too hard to be 'one of the boys', he is not he is a billionaire owner with a lot of responbility. Ashley is not involved in the day to day running of the club. I'm struggling to see why he's not allowed to sit in the seat of his choice. Who do you support? I support my local Non-league club. So Mike Ashley has no say on hiring, firing and the future of the club. Therefore I suggest again, by sitting with fans, this will undermine players and manager. Say fans start having a bit of a moan about Keegan if you lose another few games....how does it make the manager feel knowing his boss is sat amongst them!! To be honest, I don't think it makes much difference. He's going to hear what the fans are saying regardless.
  22. Some fan you are taking enjoyment out of our doing badly I'm not even a fan any more,The clubs to much of a joke to even bother wanting to go see them play."King" Kev's return was the last straw for me. So why go to the effort of posting on a Newcastle fan's forum then if you're not bothered anymore? Because i'm waiting to see how long it takes you mongs to realise what a stupid mistake you've made. Who do you support out of interest? Just England fc(No,Not Alexs mams nickname) Now,Use to be Toon/England Bye then.
