On a different note - Newcastle World... why is it it's called Newcastle World, claims to be 'everything Newcastle' yet doesn't stream/relay all the NUFC matches? I could half understand away matches, but this one's at SJP! The Makem and Smoggie matches are on, but not ours.....

It's a bugger that isn't it... I'm sure it must be on local radio if anyone fancies relaying it via msn/yahoo?

I dont know wheather this is agent spin to get him out of it or not, but truth or not I really think the english press are embarassing and cringeworthy. We knock our heros and hound people to the point of stalking. I dont blame Scolari if this is the case. The press in this country seem to knock our heros and make big news of everything they do. Take Rooney for example, I'm not saying 700K (or 900k depending on the paper you read) is small change, but why do we have to make a story about someone who will be a visible member of society to the world in a derogatory way. He may have done it, but cant we keep some of our discrepancies to ourselves, thus not making ourselves look like twats to the world. I want the world to be feared of England thr football team with the (potential) threat we could make - not laughing at us becuse the press have made us out to be a bunch of gambling piss-heads. How many times do you hear a bad story about the italian team, or the germans? To most of the public - none. I dont like some of the teams that the England players play for, but when they play for England I personally cast club issues aside. In my rambling (I've had a couple or so) I guess I'm trying to say I hate the press for what they do but I back the team we take to the world cup (and the manager) and I hope we do well. Not my usual, but for some reason I find myself sitting on a Sunday afternoon (there's a song in there somewhere) listening to E.L.O - Out of the Blue - Mr Blue Sky. If anyone remembers my last post, I was asking about the song used in the Ford Focus ad. It's 'Daydream in Blue' by I Monster. The album is 'Neveroddoreven'. I took a chance and bought the whole album on iTunes without listening to it. It's actually a good album. An eclectic mix of styles from the sublime Daydream in Blue to the Glam-rock of Mrs Glamourpuss.

Whilst we're on the subject of 'Can anyone tell me what this is......' Has anyone seem the new Ford Focus ad (with the orange car)? What's the song they use for it? It's been used for ads before and I like the song but never find out what it is. Oh and (keeping on thread): a blast from the not too distant past - Papa Roach: Never Enough from the Infest album

Just got back and my house is ferkin freezing! Probably about the same temperature as SJP last night. Mrs Paws is hoarse today - she yelled at Urinal Netty louder that I did. Shame about the result, but she loved it anyway. Cheers to the pud for sorting the tickets (you looked different to the photo's I remember seeing of you). I now also know what Alex looks like..... pud's description of him was uncanny! Baald heed and a cap. Mind you, that could have described half of the trent as well like, so I didn't go up and ask people. Instead I managed to spot Gem from about halfway across the bar.
