Someone on twitter, in discussing the whole tit for tat nature of the bein sports complaint from the Qataris, mentioned the idea of us signing Cavani on a free this summer just to annoy PSGs owners and the fact that I would even consider that possible has just about finished me off for the day tbh. -

Theres a time article from January with this pointed out, no way the buyers weren't aware of it as a potential stumbling block at that point and they've now given ashley 17 million so they presumably imagine its no problem -
Is that even a question?

I ran a quiz on Saturday night on twitch. Which was actually really good! Can recommend it. Running a quiz that is, not you lot watching me, I saw what happened to poor Callum earlier today.

Wonder if we should listen to glendenning (mackem) Delaney (hypocrite) Samuel (patsy) and the like. Or this When it comes down to it, there's fuck all moral high ground in football, but fucking hell we might actually have something to fall in love with on the pitch again. -

Did a quick search for "Sheffield united takeover guardian" which showed up no results, tried the same for Man City and found the 2009 headline "How the takeover of Manchester City came just in time to rescue a club in disarray". He's right of course, but I agree with Rayvin. -

Who do you reckon, from the current squad, would be the last one hanging on at the club if we do go spending mad? -

I assume that we're in agreement that when/if this goes through, both this thread and "Mike Ashley: Football Cunt" get immediately deleted? -

I'd have Rafa back for sure, he is an excellent manager. One of the big names currently out of work would be my guess, and there are a few very successful managers without jobs right now. If they're wanting to build the club up then someone like Ralf Rangnick might not be a bad call. -
Rob Elliot?

Would those figures not be victim of the weekend under-reporting thing as happened last week though?

How you getting on with Odyssey? Doom has been a weekend pursuit for me, which is making it last ages which is nice. Its intense as fuck and I can't really cope with it after work at the moment .

I mean, his work and the work of his friends and colleagues has made a considerable number of peoples lives actually worse, you know this, you spoke yourself often during the election about how many people have died due to Tory austerity, I get it. As a person I don't really give a shit what happens to him tbh, but I can't imagine it will be great for the overall psyche of the country if he does die. Who knows? Perhaps a near death experience will shock some humanity into him and we'll see a different man return to the office when he is better.
