He is definitely a penis like, but so are a lot of people. I like the people around him a lot more than I like him so he presumably must be alright in person (when hes not "on"), I did meet him once and he seemed nice enough to me tbh. I am too but I reckon that is down to a lack of distributor to handle that stuff, given that the guitars come out of the same factories as 99% of other eastern made guitars I just don't see how the quality can be lacking in comparison except for another level of QC/Setup between the factory and buyer. I reckon (as fairly pointed out) the amount of "b-stock" chapmans is due to that lack of a distributor. Where normally, for other brands, those guitars would go back, theres no one for them to go back to in this case so they just get sold at a lesser price point. Guitar Centre don't bother opening the boxes it seems, no surprise that the problematic ones slip through their hands into paying customers.

I ended up watching a video the other day explaining all that shit (20 minutes I'll never get back) Chapman will be fine like, someone else will wander along soon enough to take the heat. Tbh the new Chapman guitar stuff looks pretty goof, Rabeas signature guitars look great.
