  1. I don't think they will. At the end of the day its a new type of monitor that can only be viewed by one person at a time. There aren't tons of applications for that.
  2. I have in early-ish stages of the sony one. I'm not saying I don't think they're pretty cool but they won't catch on with the general public after the novelty factor wears off. Their application is too specific.
  3. I don't think it's going to happen as a big general public phenomenon. I agree with Ant on 3D, people don't like having to stick a thing on their face unless they are already well in the geek/gaming ecosystem, your casual CoD/Fifa player or the social media gamers (who make up the majority of those spending) won't give a shit beyond possibly the novelty early on.
  4. Ooo I like a quiz This isn't a quiz.
  5. We've changed it before, we will again at some point As long as its not really shitty looking it'll be reyt
  6. Tiote is just terrible at every part of playing football.
  7. I think we'll see the Liverpool/Spurs lineup against Everton. If we set up to control the game we won't manage it, they're a better side than us in that regard and they're very dangerous on the counter with Deulofeu, Barkley and Lukaku playing. We'll counter against them, let Cisse(if he's fit) and De Jong be a mild inconvenience to their defence for an hour and then bring on Perez/Mitro/Thauvin when its more stretched.
  8. I think its become clear that our gameplan under McClaren is changing. He initially wanted us to play a 4231 and have lots of possession, build up passing. We were shit at that though. We beat Liverpool and Spurs playing a counter attacking game that suited us, Sissoko (when arsed) can power a counter attack brilliantly as can Wijnaldum who also has a nack for making the right run off the ball in that situation. Counter attacking won't work at home (and odd cases away) against smaller sides though we need something else but we're still a work in progress since he's binned his initial plan. We played well enough to get the win against Villa but I think, for similar matches in future, We should start with Mitro on instead of Cisse, De Jong needs game time after having horrific luck so far for us regarding injuries and seems to provide some sort of leadership that we lack otherwise so keep him in for now, put Wijnaldum in the middle with one of Anita or Colback and play Perez or Thauvin on the left wing (with Mitro on I think I'd prefer Thauvin, he played some excellent crosses this weekend.
  9. Good old Lousies analysis of our match from the "10 talking points from this weekends action" list 5) Festive fixtures should have afternoon kick-offs Like reporters, supporters do not like 5.30pm kick-offs and many Newcastle fans are particularly annoyed Saturday’s teatime game against Aston Villa is followed by another 5.30pm start against Everton on Boxing Day. Judging by anecdotal evidence it seems to be disrupting all sorts of family plans on Tyneside and is far from great for travelling Everton fans. Television revenue has made the game rich beyond all measure but it has made life tougher for those who pay to watch their team live - and explains why there is unlikely to be a winter break in England. If Geordies are unhappy it is worse for Sunderland and Arsenal supporters. They kick off on the south coast at 7.45pm on 26 December while Liverpool fans must travel to Sunderland for a 7.45pm start on 30 December. That’s not ideal. Louise Taylor I wonder if she watches matches at all
  10. How many real, good chances idid Villa create? If any of De Jong, Perez, Wijnaldum or Mitrovic had had their shooting boots on today we'd have won it on the chances we created, we didn't play badly we just couldn't finish off several good moves.
  11. 4 really good ones I think Mitro, De Jong, Gini and now Perez more than enough to have won it
  12. Its not De Jongs fault Ayew was in a ton of space there.
  13. Think he would'v if he'd been on a bit longer, came at him very quickly you could see he wasn't expecting the ball at that pace
  14. Ground staff have a job on their hands at half time, pitch is starting to look ropey
