He'll probably do quite well for them if hes able to get back fit/sharp. Decent Championship level player playing in league 1

If my understanding of the PL highlights package the BBC buys is right then the Beeb don't cut the highlights they do show themselves or are very constrained on what they are allowed to show anyway, there are other mediums for that sort of info, online and podcasts, for the BBC to put out a version of that that would actually grab hold of people would probably cost them more than its worth.

Aye, Lineker went into some detail on Twitter a while ago about how the pundits prep for MOTD, they basically watch one full match live each during the afternoon to do their segment on, the rest are sometimes seen for the first time during the actual recording iirc. Not that easy to go into major depth on a match based just on MOTDs highlights

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
Andrew replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
In all seriousness there are about 5 clubs in the world who could stop a player leaving if PSG came knocking, especially if that player is French, and we aren't one of them. The likes of Tuchel, Garde and the others we've been linked with and actually want aren't getting those jobs any time soon. We hate our situation but, realistically, we're still a PL club, we aren't going to go down as long as the manager is competent, we're not going into administration anytime soon and, potentially very attractively, our owner has shown with Pardew that he will be loyal to his manager far beyond most others in the elite leagues. We're a damn sight more attractive than a lot of people make out, even as just a stepping stone.- 1745 replies

Motta is supposedly leaving so a midfield of Matuidi, Verratti and Sissoko/Cabaye depending on the opposition would be pretty solid.- 1745 replies

Got it for christmas and have been playing since, really enjoying it tbh, shooting mechanics are really enjoyable and controllable. Currently at 23 with my Hunter, getting myself up to raiding levels then I can join a bunch of mates who've been playing a while longer. Good game.

If he wants to go into management then he'll need some experience as a club manager before an english CL club will even look at him though. Stepping stone club.

You don't say!

Howe is comfortable at Bournemouth, had a brief spell at burnley, didn't like it oop norf and went back.

Well then, no Pardew no hope? By most peoples reckoning we'll have Carver in the dugout which doesn't fill me with a lot of hope but Burnley aren't a great side by any means and we made our own problems when we played them at Turf Moor (Or rather our manager did) by starting out with a defensive, workmanlike, lineup. Hopefully at home Carver, or whoever does pick the team (Colo?) will feel more inclined to start with Cabella over Gouffran and try to get at them. I remember saying a while back I wouldn't bother making the journey up again whilst Pardew was in charge but, through various coincidences and what have you, I will be there tomorrow, so I finally get to see us at home again and keep my word Heres a preview someone else wrote.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Andrew replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'm not so sure, these are the game where Pardews preferred (and only) actual tactic comes into effect. We'll sit deep and counter, it'll either be a battering or we'll win, if we've to chase the game we're stuffed.- 10610 replies

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Andrew replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Exactly what I think, Rodgers talks about a philosophy but his only discernible philosophy was possession with 0 penetration, his biggest success was having an outstanding player be the driving force behind anything that happened for his entire team. Now that player has gone Liverpool are back to looking average as fuck and he has no idea how to fix it.- 10610 replies
