SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPAFAN -
I can't agree with that. They're not shit - Carroll in particular proved when he was with us that he could be deadly given the right service. It's that point where Dalglish has failed - he's totally overlooked the strengths of the players. I've heard the same argument from various different Liverpool fans that Carroll's failing is that he's "not playing the Liverpool way". I'm sorry like but what absolute, arrogant dog-shit! If you pledge to spend £35 million on one single player, you should be prepared to build the team around his strengths - not berate him because he's "not fitting into the Liverpool way of things". thats bad buying then, to spend 35 million you either cant or wont make your system work for is shocking management

Probably a combination of that and exposure. You're not going to get many people watching the ACON on tv when the Euros are on. no reason they couldn't be odd number years though, they'd still be able to be every two years then too

Aye mate, dump her

Indeed. He could have been back playing after a few weeks but instead he went for an op to solve the problem. I love the idea of a 'crock' as though there is some physiological or genetic reason why the player will suffer 'injuries'. Its normal to have a specific problem recurring and if the player drinks and/or doesnt look after himself then its usual to have niggles. The lad has, like Ba, a specific issue which will be resolved hopefully through surgery. Having a groin issue does not make him a crock and for the record, Taylor's shoulder and achilles injuries are impossible to link from a medical perspective so neither injury makes him 'injury prone', it is quite simply bad luck. Its the old cognitive dissonance issue again, unable to accept that the probability of these events are independent people piece together a narrative that explains them all as part of some dastardly plan 'we only buy crocks that no one else goes near as we prefer to gamble on them as they cost less money' or something, ignoring the fact that every other team in the league suffers from injuries (and ignoring the fact that Souness once got a Witch Doctor to exhume the bad spirits from the club as an attempt to resolve our injury record). He was injured before we bought him. He was injured when we bought him. He's injured now. I have no idea what cognitive dissonance means but I'd say we bought a crock. Hopefully he'll get better, but I wouldn't bother with this season. tbf they were the same injury, its just he was injured while we were buying him

Ive heard mention a few times on the news today of the Church of Englands opinions on this why is their opinion on it being reported at all? I'm sure a lot of other people don't want this to go through either

Spearings on Dembele was a fucking shocking challenge too (ball or not) lets send Cabaye to apologise to Dembele and then we can stop mentioning it

Watching the highlights of the Senegal match, Senegals defending is terrible

With digital release too you'd think if it were a technical issue the US and PAL releases would both struggle
-
ah right, were the US and UK versions particularly different? as said, its out everywhere that isnt PAL
-
publishing rights change the world over, its possible that Capcom didn't agree the rights with Sony to publish it on the PSN for the PAL region, its out fore the US and JP markets but no PAL release anywhere
-
public poll too, jeez deaders
-
Highlights on ITV4 now, none of the usual ITV pundits, Aaron Mokoena and Quinton Fortune instead potentially a good show
