its a forum, discussions happen. I think youre wrong so Ive said so and why, is that a problem? Yeah it is, wudnt have been if ur reply was a well thought point, but seein as joey barton has been 1 of the most emotional passionate players about i thought my point was fair. Urs was just a stupid put down it wasnt though, I worded it as such but do you really think the fans singing his name is going to mess his game up? hes old and experienced enough a player to get on with whats going on on the pitch rather than dwell on that. -

3 of the back 4 are new signings, 2 of the 4 midfielders and 1 of the two strikers theyre not going to be much of a unified force, think we'll have them -

youre serious? this is a professional premier league football player, hes 29 not 12. -
dont bother, just get out
-
Aye - apparently he's created more chances than anyone else in the league so far this year though. the rest of his team train and play with him week in week out though, hes been the focal point of their midfield for a long time, I just dont reckon his style translates into the england side at all

probably a mix of that and integrating him into the squad a little before he plays. its not exactly uncommon for a new signing to sit out a game or two before they play nowadays -
bit of publicity for a show on C4 that will probably lead to accusations with no real evidence and them getting their nuts sued off by the FA not that I dont think there are tons of players on cocaine and cannabis mind.

were there a bunch of them in a line up to a box held up with a stick on a string? theyre adapting with the times these criminals
-
see that wasn't really the point I was aiming at

now I know most will say he's making excuses for his shite start as a chelsea player which he undoubtedly is but it got me thinking a bit having watched england v wales with lampard in the pivotal attacking midfield role and how different a style england played with compared to when it was one of young walcott and downing there against bulgaria. the wales game was much more like england in the world cup, slow and very lethargic once we got into the final third and I think a lot of that was to do with lampard, it could be argued that all the other players were just as slow but its often that central role that sets the pace for the entire team when it comes to attacking, knowing how lampard plays and how he passes will make wingers play differently as they expect different balls played into them. I know im hardly an advocate for lampard being in the england team but has Torres hit the nail on the head here while trying to protect himself? for me theres no doubt that england are a much better side when there is more pace about the attacks than was evident against wales that the likes of wilshere or young will provide in that role rather than frank lampard i know its not particularly relevant to much of anything but its really quiet on here
