  1. Gomis. Don't know anything about him though. Seen some youtube footage, looks quick, strong, and can hit the back of the net in style. checked him out on FM, doesn't seem all that special to me
  2. I don't mind clubs being successful, it's how the media pander to them and the general setup in world football is only helping them get further away
  3. tbf fabregas isn't touching babels shirt in that picture I think its's just like that
  4. I do, but like I say I live with man u fans, imagine that they wank over him constantly he does want to play for real though and they want him (obviously) plus his mum wants him to play for them and if man u win the CL then he's won everything there is to win with them
  5. if they win the CL this season and the league then I think ronaldo will be off to real madrid so at least thats something positive
  6. Beautiful run, moment of the game by a mile. Aye. In a fucking amazing game it was still the stand out moment and that says it all tbf. I went for a piss
  7. want all the english but arsenal out tbh, liverpool are just annoying I hate chelsea and I live with 2 united fans who would be unbearable if they win the CL
  8. you know what? you're right thats quite a startling resemblance
  9. Aww... Bit of humility's always a good thing can imagine taylor now "Keegan? pfft would have had him in my back pocket all game" You have to wonder if he could actually keep him in his back pocket all game now. I'm sure he thinks he can

  11. yeh who needs the 13th best player of the century pfft
  12. nothing wrong with a little tradition
  13. I'd say so too, Foster will be back playing come next season too, if he can get back to his watford form then we'll have some quality keepers coming through
  14. Van buyten lacks any agility at all, would maybe struggle with the pace of the prem as a result VDV and Nasri I agree with IRTF Gourcouff is, I think, regarded as one of ACs most promising youngsters and he does get games for them, it's never gunna happen and I've never seen Vagner Love play so...
  15. A few weeks ago I'd have rubbished most of those (especially veloso, sporting are pretty much man utds feeder club they'll have him before anyone else) but since the keegan factor seems to have started flying around the club lately I have absolutely no idea which I love my cynical knowing stuff's not going to work has been replaced with blissful optimistic ignorance
  16. bullshit - along with Berbatov, I think he's top of the shopping list for each of the top 4. He's proving himself in the Prem - minimum risk... I'd love to think we could attract him but out of our league IMO... Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea definitely wouldn't take him. He's not good enough for them, not by a good distance either. Liverpool is a possibility.. but even then I wouldn't bank on it. I think a lot of people see a player excelling at a lower club and they assume that this player would benefit from playing for a bigger club. I think Bentley wants to move because Blackburn don't share his (or Mark Hughes') ambition. We clearly do. I think you'd be surprised... Reminds me very much of Rob Lee in his younger days - showed tremendous promise when he was on Arsenal's books and I just think he'll get better and better. IMO he's a far better talent than SWP (even when he as at his peak). well he has a final product so yeh
  17. because at the moment we're not ever top half nevermind top 4 and we need to improve, he could do that plus he's only 23 and still improving
  18. I'd love him here and I find myself thinking "where else would he go?" it could happen
  19. Only seen it on highlights, but it looked to be pretty much right in the top corner, don't think that many would have got to it. When I saw it on MOTD I think I said "right at the post, no 'keeper in the world would have saved that" Unless he was stood next to the post. which would have been a ridiculous place to stand without the benefit of hindsight

  21. I think this is sort of what wise is here for, to find young talent for the future and let keegan and some of the other staff worry about the current squad seems like a good idea to me all the most successful clubs have had this sort of thing in place for years
  22. I don't think so, Harper has been pretty bloody good for us in givens absence a few times this season and it's been harsh on him to be dropped for given as soon as he's fit, the fact he seems to be able to perform to a good standard when his first team appearances have huge gaps between them speaks a lot for him IMO
