  1. Very true. Nice kid, hard worker. Limited.
  2. Ok so going along with your theory Boumsong IS better than Mexes? Mexes has Zero caps? Boumsong has in excess of 30? So no, that isnt my theory at all. try again. Milner turned 21 THIS year ffs! Ok you believe what you want but of the two I would chose Milner on our right every time, even when he doesn't play well he doesn't go missing and still works his arse off for the team. I don't think I could count the number of times I have wondered whether or not Dyer is on the pitch. I will and I have. Milner may 'work his arse off'. That usually involved labouring to move 10 yards, turning round, doing a stepover and nearly knocking some fuckers head off in the stands. That, isnt what a footballer is there to do. Nice support for the lad who is 21 but cristiano Ronaldo is 22 and has 46 caps. One is a very good footballer and the other plays for us and is unlikely to play for England more than 10 times. Sadly, there is a very transparent reason for that. Ronaldo is probably the best right winger in this league, bit of a difference from comparing Milner to Dyer. So what does Dyer do then? He is a fantastic crosser isnt he? Also Boumsong has played 3 times as many international as Mexes so surely by your logoc that must mean he is the better player? If you cant see what Dyer does then that is your problem. Football isnt always played with the ball at your feet. There is a clue. Not sure you have seen them on the same pitch but the fact that one has played 30+ times for England, played consistently in a Top 5 side and is rated by so many in the game, should give you an indication that you are 'wide of the mark' on this one. Milner is adequate, I doubt if he will play for England. Do you think he ever will and deserves to?

  5. That's nice for you. However, you are very very wrong. Lots of players have played for England once or twice and maybe shouldnt. Very few have played over 30 games without some semblance of ability. The sort of ability you cant see, for instance. If a player is good enough then the current International scene is the easiest one for average players to make the odd appearance. Milner would have had some inkling that he was going to make the step up. I'll happily wager that he wont make as many England appearance as his colleague though. I'll also wager he wont make double figures. People better qualified than you and I have made the decisions on ability. Those good enough tend to make it though. Very few escape it.
  6. 6-7 goals a season is a decent return from a centre midfielder as long as the widemen chip in with a few - something duff and dyer have to improve on That's if we keep Dyer and Duff, I'd be content to let em go somewhere else and play N'Zogbia and Milner, both of whom strike me as a greater goal threat. Play Milner and N'Zogbia out wide and we will be midtable no matter who we put in the middle or up front. Note that the two you clain to be a better goal threat scored less than the other two last season. Milner scored more than Duff and Dyer played up front, hardly a fair comparison. Have you read Milners scoring record from last season? Dyer played half a season and still outscored him despite being played all over the place last season - not up front, exclusively, as you suggest. Just pointing out the kid isnt good enough, again. It will become apparent to you soon to Nb: happy for him to stay as a squad player, just in case. He played a hell of a lot more games up front than Milner and has a good number of years experience over the lad aswell. Lot more ability too. Apart from running fast what would these ability would this be then? The one that Milner cant do you mean? See which one of them plays for England tonight.....and has done, under 3 different managers, since he was younger than Milner is. There is a reason for that, you know. He has his flaws, but despite that, he is still a far far better player than Milner will ever be.

    Camping

    - Really like Beadnell - good campsite next to the beach. - The Borders - plenty of places about like Kelso, Selkirk etc - Loch Ken is probably a bit quiet but great walks and plenty of biking routes about if you like that sort of thing. - Obviously The Lakes - nice campsite near Glenridding.

  11. Barton is a better footballer than Bowyer. I havent seen enough of him to say he is definitely going to be a success but he seems to have more going forward the others in the squad. Anyway, I am assuming that there are about a dozen players who will improve in our current squad. Too many going through the motions and neither Allardyce of the pitch or Barton on it seem to tolerate that. Think Barton and Nicky Butt would be ok together as long as we have a bit of pace on the flanks.
  12. 1. Just got in from doing a gig in Barnsley 2. It went very well. 3. We got offered 1300 quid for another gig - 1 grand up on our asking price 4. Knackered 5. Off to sleep in the land of contentedness - is that a word?
  13. Well on Friday I am marking, taking dog for a walk. Got to then do a soundcheck for a gig I am doing on Sat night. After that its a train to Leeds and a good skinful. Probs end up in HiFi. Ok club but nowt special. Then sleep, then gig, then wake up somewhere.
  14. Formalities then. I'm sure they can get everything else sorted prior to the official date.
  15. Dyer is a far better footballer than Milner will ever be. Really dont think either are up to it at Newcastle but Dyer will probably go somewere and get his career going again. There is a reason for him being so highly rated by managers who have succeeded in the game. Dyer is better at picking the ball up and running with it quite fast but Milner is more effective. Nowhere near it tbh Dyer is a very good footballer who gets on many peoples tits. His comeback and its effect on the team proved that. His performances when we finished 4th and 3rd tend to confirm it too. Milner isnt in the same league. Pretty on the ball but crossing is appalling and despite being 17 years his senior I still think I'd give him 5 yards head start over 10. Nice lad but it gets on my tits when people mention him a someone who is going to come good. He is a young lad with limited ability. One of the key components for the his position(s) in the premiership, sadly for him, is pace. That will always hold him back. Viduka will be fine with the decent players around him. We need some pace and strength in that midfield from somewhere though. Milner was one of our best players this season and one of Villas last season, turned 21 this year!! Much better than Dyer imo. he is fucking slow like He isn't the fastest but can still beat a man. Thats usually when I duck.
  16. Has he signed, give me proof. I dont think so

Nowhere even close. He has played well in two failing sides? He isnt capable of making that step up. Get your arse up to SJP to see him running in slowmo to appreciate the problems he is having. He has far too many flaws. Dyer may get on peoples tits but he at 21 he was playing for England and doing well in a number of positions. He has gone stale here but has far more to his game than Milner will ever have. Seriously, Milner has little or no chance of ever making it at the top level. Dyer has already played in a top 4 side regularly and played an important part in it at that. I can understand people getting pissed off with his attutude and the problems NUFC have had generally over the last 3 years. However, it shouldnt cloud it to the extent that a marginally better than journeyman footballer like Milner is considered good enough. I cant be arsed going into FM manager stats, I just know what a good footballer looks like. Milner isnt.

  20. Who is that then? Dunno, didnt watch it, but she is called Chanelle. She has just been on Yorkshire TV. Jesus, what a mong.
  21. We're not playing in it anymore. Why not No idea, i'd assume it's a fuck up on Sky's part and we were never meant to. Arsenal, Lazio, At. Madrid and Ajax are in it. I read somewhere that we were in it, but because of all the uncertainty and changes at the club we couldn't commit completely and so Arsenal replaced us. Can't remember where i saw/read that though! stepped aside tbh
  22. Thats the way it works. We are the fifth best team, therefore, we pay the fifth most. Obvious really. Do you see Aston Villa on that list? Do ya?
  23. Who is that then? Dunno, didnt watch it, but she is called Chanelle. Posh Spice wannabe apparently. Nee tits. Not bad looking. Seems thick as fuck - "there's too much bad stuff going on in the world"
