That assumes we get nowt from the other 6 games though. We've thrown away all the points you mention, but we've also picked up points off Villa, Man U, Everton and Chelsea. And the last 3 were all away from home so it's not a forgone conclusion.
-
Does this mean we're fucked or not? Nah. Boro and Pompey.

Getting it's first listen from me now. I think it's bloody terrific. Initial opinion is it's better than the Crane Wife...and as good as Picaresque. It's grown on me a lot like. The tracks where they go a bit Sabbath are the best for me plus Shara Worden is a fantastic addition. I like it a lot more than I did last week, for sure. I'm really starting to love it now. The Hazards of Love 3 (Revenge!) has been on repeat all morning. Supoib I do a little spunk up when the hapsicord starts. I do another when the moog (or whatever) kicks off and one last one when the big "boom crash" drums start. The schoolgirl choir, and cymbals throughout are lush too. Perfection.

For fun I gave each team points based on position, where top place has a difficulty of 20 and bottom is 1. Away games you double the difficulty. Tottenham 168 Boro 152 Newcastle 148 Blackburn 144 Sunderland 140 Portsmouth 138* Hull 139 Bolton 129 Stoke 116 West Brom 112 *Portsmoth score 153, but the extra game means I multiplied their run in by 9/10 So apart from Boro, of the likely candidates (can't see Spurs getting dragged into it now), we have the most difficult run in. Definitely. I might ask my boss if there's any work needs doing now

In my favourite top 10 films of all time and a family "must watch" every christmas. One of Richard Curtis's finest moments. Hey, I'll stick up for Love Actually too. Lols... it's one of the few movies my wife breaks out when it's her turn to pick that doesn't make me die inside. I mean, it's a rom-com, so guys aren't supposed to like it, but it does have some pretty hilarious moments in it. Would I rather watch Memento or something? Sure, but if I have to watch a rom-com, it'd be that one before anything else. You want to talk about an entire genre of film that is at least 99% shite? Rom-coms. American action movies are a close second. Rom Coms are great. The Apartment Groundhog Day Tootsie Eternal Sunshine His Girl Friday Annie Hall Manhattan My Sassy Girl True Romance Princess Bride etc. I'm amazed anyone would consider Love Actually before any of those. True Romance is a romantic comedy? True Romance as in Clarence and Alabama? True Romance as in, "It's better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it?" True Romance? That's not a fucking romantic comedy. I think you missed the memo. It's been re-classified, along with Natural Born Killers and Schindlers List... Lols. Exactly. I'd definitely call Natural Born Killers a romantic comedy. You don't think it's a darkly humorous film centrered around a girl and boy who get it on and live happily every after....like True Romance? Schindlers list is hilarious. Did you see the kid jump into the shitty pissy commode? ROFL Not so romantic like...apart from the rape. -
How is that in any way even remotely funny? Cos on the freeze frame there Ashley Cole looks like he's doing a ching chong chinaman. ...and David James looks like Chunk "Eyyyyy youuuu guys!"

What will happen if News Corp hit financial trouble?

Just checked the stock price and despite a consitent drop during 2008, Bsky B has managed to sit at mid 2004 prices. -
What will happen if News Corp hit financial trouble?
Happy Face replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aren't they tanking due to the drop off in advertising? Newspaper prices are through the roof and I can see papers going under. But the way I see it Sky remains a succesful brand based on subscriptions, rather than advertising revenue. Worst comes to the worst, News Corp would sell on the succesful brand and the unsuccesful ones would fold. Or am I simple in the head? -
Am I allowed to post fixtures? It'd be nice to compare full run ins.

Just because Pud is a member of NUSC doesn't necessarily mean NUSC are peddling this rumour. He's just passing on what he has heard to other Newcastle United fans who would be interested in such a thing. There was no mention of NUSC in the original post, in fact you're the first person to bring the supporters club into it. Football forums are about rumour, conjecture and calling each other cunts. If you take that away then what have we got? That's right, N-O. *shudders* I would say he is unfortunate that he is associated to NUSC. In my opinion, if you are involved in something like that and everyone knows then you should ensure you dont make them look stupid. Unfortunately i think its a stupid story, perhaps you may believe it perhaps you dont thats not for me to say. NUSC wants to gain recognition and move forward so i would suggest that to be taken seriously they shouldnt come accross people trying everything they can to make the club look stupid..........guess what? we already know it! As for your final line of what a football forum is about, i agree. I dont really tend to say much, just look on here to see if there is any news, to read a few opinions etc but perhaps in my extreme boredom i thought i would say how much of a bollocks story this. Im with ya on this one fella. I can't believe you two aren't at least SLIGHTLY curious to know how come Smith gets a game when he's never scored in a competetive match but Xisco doesn't. Xisco looked every bit as shit as Smith in the games he's played. At least Smith has a bit more experience in his favour.

Most of his stuff is highly derivative and shit. Isnt everything? I had this debate 10 years ago about him. Five years after everyone else then? -

That's what he said at the last talk in of his I went to. Despite 100% of the 75 fans present loudly disagreeing all night. On the payroll tttt.

I'd rather go down watching the odd game like the Man U one than loiter in the bottom half with 11 men consistently behind the ball hoping to win a corner against the likes of Derby county.

Lose at Hull then beat Arsenal. Nailed on.

I could watch these forever

His twattishness grows with his fame too apparently. Comedians most hated comedian barring Peter Kay.

I thought you'd remember the 1946 derby Rob. "It was the first Derby after the end of World War II and everyone who had ever served in the Royal Air Force – or who had relatives in the RAF or paratroops – went for an outsider called Airborne. The horse, whose form until then was more akin to a donkey than a thoroughbred, hacked up at 50/1. More than half the bookmakers in the UK went bankrupt on the back of that one result, something that has never been repeated since." More examples here... http://www.betasia.com/features/how-to-win...s-who-lose.html

Few pints straight after work. Home by 9pm for a bit of tea. Tomorrow, I'll do some tidying at me dear old ma's, bit of shopping for her, match on the interwebs then either the pictures or a dvd. Sunday, Nice lie in. Then down the Ginger Giraffe/Tavistock for the best Sunday dinner in the North East. Few pints around the coast, walk it off along the beach, home in time for Come Dine With Me on E4.
