  1. Was he crocked? Villa fan I was talking to tonight says he stopped getting games so villa could avoid a further £4m payment clause to the mackems. Still rates him highly.
  2. 1. I'd like to dance more than I am comfortable with. 2. I'd like to listen to as much music as I used to. 3. I'd like to watch as many films as I used to. 1 requires a drug intake I'm not keen on. 2 & 3 are an acceptable loss in having a family... But one which I always wanted to avoid.
  3. Top man. Odd that some pics showed and some didn't when they are all from the same batch uploaded. :s
  4. How comes when I move a file into a folder I have shared my Xbox and bluray won't make the file available... Though all others are. Also added a hundred photos of the same format taken on the same camera at the same time...and one of them is available on other devices. Totally bamboozled.
  5. The week he signed we saw him in Lau's 2. All you can eat for a footballer is never a good sign. Should be with his team mates in nandos.
  6. I can't imagine my kid thinking dad earns more and keeps what he earns to himself once the bills have been paid. Even if you earn so much more than the the other half, once there's a kid in the picture it hardly seems to make sense to hoard your cash, because if you do worry about splitting up she's gonna get half anyway
  7. How many games/minutes did those 4 play after Feb 1st? Genuine question. I'd usually use the fantasy league site to find out but it's gone to rat shit.
  8. Don't think my other half has ever paid for a meal or drink, from our first date. Sometimes traditional gender roles are a good thing.
  9. Surprising how many kept men are on here.
  10. It's not weird...but not sensible if you have good credit and can pay off the balance each month. You get 1, 2 or 3 % back on supermarkets bars restaurants petrol dept stores etc. With Santander. Can get about £30 back a month if you're spending £1000.
  11. We used to try going halfers before we were married... But who needs the hassle of doing all those sums every month?
  12. Everything goes in the joint account. Everything comes out of there....but its basically my account and I take her wages. She never even looks at it. Joint credit card she can use for shopping/petrol etc.

  14. Compare the case of his murderer, with this victim of domestic violence in the same state... http://m.cbsnews.com/storysynopsis.rbml?&pageType=national&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbsnews.com%2F8301-201_162-57433184%2Ffla-mom-gets-20-years-for-firing-warning-shots%2F&feed_id=1&videoid=37&catid=57433184&nb_splitPage=2 ..and explain how it's not about race. David Simon has summed it up well... http://davidsimon.com/trayvon/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DavidSimon+%28David+Simon%29
  15. Yes thanks. Got home Thursday afternoon and an endless stream of romper suits, nappies and shit in my lap since then. Loving every second
  16. His middle name is James so he'll get Jamie Oliver too. Then his initials are OJ. The NFL and Hollywood's greatest monster. Still better than Dave though.
  17. Champion, we've capturted the zeitgeist then.
  18. Surprised you're so supportive of offloading the incapable cover like Marveaux and Ferguson. Remember though... Pardew doesn't buy the players... he just gets what he's given.

    Craig

    Seasons greetings Craig.
  20. Happy birthday Fister you funny fucker. Sorry I'm late.
  21. Watched episode 1 of the new arrested development last night and it got 3 or 4 belly laughs. Was pleased with it... having given it a month and dampened expectations from the lukewarm reviews rather than jumping onto it at the height of the hype.
  22. Those are some superb stats. The suggestion that politicians struggle against these misconceptions, rather than perpetuate (if not instigate) them is less convincing. On another topic, I realize that MPs take a miniscule fraction of public pay, however a 9.3% rise at this moment is like rubbing people noses in the misery....
