  1. How often have Man U our any other team done the treble? I only remember '99. In what addled mind is it a realistic aim and not an optimistic target in a perfect world.
  2. Top effort fish. Graphs 'n shit give the impression of scientific fact in the responses. Love it. Will have a proper read as soon as I have time.
  3. The Third Manager He's a Kinnear stooge. Another appointment at to put pressure on Pardew.
  4. You need to be able to divorce the crime he's committed from the one committed against him. It'll be his own fault if he's found guilty and banged up for the rest of his life. It may have been his fault that he got a beating too, the force used may have been proportional. But the police aren't empowered to be a vigilante force. They can't behave like thuggish doormen, taking out their anger on alleged criminals. If his teeth have been knocked out there is a case for them to answer.
  5. High profile cases like this one are where it's most important to not sweep police brutality under the mat. There is no line defined for how heinous a crime can be before the accused is fair game for a beating.
  6. “MR. BURNS, YOUR CAMPAIGN SEEMS TO HAVE THE MOMENTUM OF A RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN. WHY ARE YOU SO POPULAR?"
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvZ9tEb67HE For fans of early Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and current Tame Impala
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqTsUtQLRFk Franz Ferdinand are back! ....and they're exactly the same as before.
  9. If there's any doubt in your mind about that photo being doctored, get yourself off to Specsavers.
  10. From 1260 minutes that NUFC played once the window closed.... Perch played 466 minutes...a little over one game in three. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/9563/Fixtures/James-Perch Simpson 261 minutes...one in five... http://www.whoscored.com/Players/23683/Fixtures/Danny-Simpson I'm pretty sure if you look in the "who should we sell" threads, those 2 would be pretty frequent choices. I agree we're short of options, but I really can't work up any distress over any of these players going. Said it in the Perch thread, if he's on £20k a week and we didn't get the fee we did and he was off on a free next summer, then it would cost us almost £2m to keep him...for 13 games, that's over £150k a game. He's never that valuable to us.
  11. Just like being back in a chemistry class....or watching Jonny Ball.
  12. Oh come on! Is there any need for such tasteless objectification on here? You don't get it from the lads.

  14. Like saying a teapot thinks it's tea time. Twitter isn't a person or a paper CT. According to who?
  15. 3 minutes? I've got the kettle on by then!
  16. http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/penis-facts I'm a grower. Anyone a shower?
  17. 2 I'd say... Harper was 3rd choice. And those 2 got all their games before the January window. They have been replaced. The worry to me is the lack of signings, not the offloading of players we all thought shouldn't be in the first team anyway.
  18. Glad things are looking good. Me dad still gets pins and needless off Chemo he had years back so I know it's a bastard for donkeys. Excellent that you're on the up.
  19. A Field in England An ambitious attempt to combine elements of Bergman, Herzog, and Hammer with nods to Scorsese, Sunn o))) and Beavis and Butthead. Whether it succeeds or fails in the attempt will need more viewings to decide. It's a confusing, meandering, pretentious, film that offers little plot and less of a conclusion. If it is a failure (and I don't know if it is) it is still one of the most interesting and original films of recent years and demands praise for trying something different. I would prefer to watch it on a loop than 90% of cinema releases.
  20. Regulars? Gosling got 44 minutes under his belt last season.
