    Mines not changed. Ashley shit. Pardew shit. Until a fortnight ago there were mitigating factors that suggested Pardew could feel aggreived at being sacked. He doesn't have that luxury anymore.

    It never changed once in the first 11 or so games though. After that players came into a winning team with the best defence in the league, confidence was high and breeds success. Totally different stepping into a relegation battle.

    We were having a good laugh at the end, "ole" and that. Sang more at 6 down than at 2 down. Had to laugh when Taylor and Cabaye came over to applaud the support after the whistle. Thought they'd be too ashamed.

    Aye. Making excuses. I could "simply say" managing Newcastle is hard, no-one's won owt for 40+ year. It's an empty excuse though. Something you're keen to offer Ashley while berating Pardew for citing legitimate events that have made it hard for him this year.

    Best way to do it is take that game out of your sums altogether, imagine they both have 3 games left...9 points...they can still both overtake us and afford to lose that last one...or even just to match us on points and relegate us on goal difference.
