Add Mbabu, Aarons, Shelvey and Saviet to that lot and we should be fine this season. Especially if Colback actually gets benched, and we buy someone like Austin.

No doubt our twat of a manager thinks we're showing signs of promise and will begin making our attack on the European places soon. I'm sure he'll be happy with a couple of mediocre French players being the sum total of our window.

To be honest, I'd like him just to try something new, even with his limited options. We persist with the same shit every week other than replacing our two best attackers with inferior replacements (De Jong and Cisse). Either McClaren is just waiting for the January window so he can improve on the current system, he's too scared to change it, or he's deluded and thinks a couple of good results is reason to stick with it.

We've probably got the worst central midfield in the league. Not to mention our wingers are naturally central players and our full backs can't defend (being kind to Dummett here - I'd immediately replace him with Mbabu for the West Brom game).

I give a shit, I'm guessing anyone else on here who doesn't show complete apathy does too.

January is massive for us - absolutely have to recruit well. Forget a winger and a striker, we need to bring 6 in like we did a couple of years ago. Fact is we're in the bottom 3, hopefully this makes it abundantly clear to Ashley that he needs to invest. We can't afford to be complacent.
