  1. 0.1% chance we're coming straight back up without wholesale changes.
  2. Nigel Pearson, nailed on. That's if Villa don't beat him to us first.
  3. Stay classy, Liverpool. [tweet] [/tweet]
  4. I don't even see a loss against Norwich as being terminal to our chances of stating up.
  5. Makes the Norwich game even more important but a point today at least gives us a reasonable chance. Intentional break has come at just the right time.
  6. UEFA allow loan players like Coman to play against their parent clubs?
  7. Bayern not at the races at all tonight, Alaba is having a mare.
  8. Doumbia hat-trick, 3-1 win. Simpson red carded after he tries to punch Mitrovic.
  9. @@Ant How come that squad is only rated 84?
  10. I'd be pretty happy if we bring in Harry Redknapp. I reckon the job will go to Pearson, Carr or Charnley himself though.
  11. Wow http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-descended-farce-humiliation-10997806
  12. My prediction - we're going to get relegated.
  13. I'm pretty apathetic about it. Fair play to them either way.
  14. No, Sunderland probably shouldn't but it would be amusing if they were deducted points. Especially if those points kept us up and took them down.
  15. Win win tbh... lose and McClown should get the sack.
  16. 3-1 loss. We take an early lead, in fact we're the better side for the first half. McClaren works his magic at half-time and Bournemouth come out and score around the 55th minute. We camp in our half playing for a draw. Eventually we crumble and they score a goal from a set piece. McClaren then decides it's time to bring on some fresh legs so brings on Riviere. In the 88th minute Taylor gets turned and scissor tackles one of their strikers in the box. They score from the resulting penalty. McClaren lavishes praise on the squad post-match, saying "if we continue to play like that, we'll be fine this season".
