Not sure why I bothered reading this article - http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/10277925/newcastle-relegated-from-the-premier-league-what-went-wrong Anyway, had a glance at the comments for it and to little surprise we've already got a "fans got what they asked for after Pardew left" and even a bonus "went wrong when Big Sam left".

How can anyone hate Boro? They're inoffensive, like Norwich.

Congratulations on staying up. Your lot deserve it.

Charnley's going to surprise him with the best blowie of his life tonight too, anything to keep him away from the football news. -
You mean his successor?

Ashley clearly thought throwing a bit of money at the problem would sort it. He'd be semi-correct if he hadn't allowed Carr, Charnley and McClaren to be in charge of spending it. Recruitment has been absolutely diabolical. We spent a bit of money but what's the point if it's spent on the likes of Saivet?

I feel really sorry for Charnley. -

I'll give him the tiniest bit of credit if he does the right thing and bins Charnley and Carr. -
He's no Sam Allardyce, that's for sure.

5 I think it is. -
Still can't believe we didn't go all out attacking this lot. They were absolutely there for the taking. Rafa has to be partly at fault. We should have thrown the cliched proverbial sink at them, from the off. Two CDMs ffs. Was as if we were playing for a point, as if the team though that would be enough. Not only do Sunderland have Defoe (absolutely the reason they're staying up, they have very little quality aside from him), in my opinion they've also got more leaders and characters, which we lack and could have really done with today. Who knows, even a win today quite probably wouldn't be enough given Sunderland won and have two very easy fixtures coming up. Oh well.
