So instead of leaving ourselves open by attacking against a fitter team, he wanted us to go defensive. Thought a fitness expert like yourself would have considered this.

Fair point. We'll see. If we don't invest, and invest heavily to be honest, then I don't know what will happen. Stage protests maybe, but that wouldn't change anything. We're a shambles in many ways yet we carry genuine attacking threat in most games we play. We need to stop rendering that threat useless.
