The day it's ever that easy for NUFC, is the day I'll believe we've actually made it
-
Constituency Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale MP David Mundell (Conservative)
-
Given that I'm still sat in a Tory constituency, I suspect that my vote going to the LDs would be best for everyone anyway.
-
PR not in the mix for the manifesto apparently, so that's me out as far as Labour are concerned. Suppose I have to at least credit him with being honest about that and not stringing it out.
-
If only he'd give them something to vote for.

Am going Gemmill, we need sheer confidence and force of will at this point, whether based in reality or not
-
Yeah Villa are already out of it..
-
Sorry but when did JRM get a slot on GBNews? Does he not have a fucking full time job already?

I don't disagree with this but it's worth keeping in mind that these people by and large won't believe any of that. They don't trust their institutions so why would they care if a court verdict said he was guilty? Looked at through our frame of reference, it is entirely as you say. Looked at through theirs, "the man" is trying to take down their hero with convenient lies and he keeps bouncing back up.

I reckon someone could track you down based on locating the swirling cloud of enraged seagulls tbh.

We get the win here and pressure dissipates as we'll be halfway there. Fail to win and it's going to be a nailbiter of an end to the season I think, as much as it'll still all be in our hands. A draw would be ok as long as we're confident we can win our two remaining home games - which we should be.
-
Yeah that's Brighton gone from the equation IMO. Also means we're getting 5th at worst I reckon.
-
That issue is still going? It was their own dumbfuck fans who got them relegated to L1 in the first place, got more points on the road than at home that season. They are a consistent issue for their own team
-
That really is the beauty of it tbh.
-
Have to say I am also enjoying the excitement of this. I'm not arsed if Sunderland come up, not that I'm convinced they'll find a way past Luton anyway. Mental how much is on the line for a few teams though.

One thing I will say - I wish I felt able to be part of the joy around that whole event. I wish they/this basis for running a country represented me, I wish it was something I could feel proud of and join with my fellow citizens in. As it is, it's just a depressing reminder of everything that's wrong with our nation. There is much to be proud of the UK for, but none of this is it.

Were we not getting 50k+ while we were shit and getting relegated..?
-
Good thread. Explains it better. Also seems to make clear that we're having our "anyone but trump" moment. Fully deserved for the Tories.
-
Independents seem to be doing quite well.

Think his argument was more that the Labour vote hasn't gone up, but the Tory vote has collapsed - so while the margin of Labour's victory is significant, the actual won votes are not. Maybe all those pensioners forgot their ID. In the end it's another year to run anyway, we might well end up with the second coming of the great fiasco himself before we get to a GE.
