The follow up one in the replies where they actually admit it is also worth a watch. Fucking spanners

Guess he hasn't kissed anyone in the House of Lords.

I agree, a bloke who wants to be Prime Minister in this country can't display principles or any genuine aspect of his character. This may not annoy you, but it pisses me right off

Then they need to practice better hygiene ffs.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/nov/18/keir-starmer-i-kissed-a-tory-and-not-ashamed-labour Fuck me. I try to ignore this stuff from Starmer, I really do. "I have friends who are Tories, and long may that continue". Just... what?? So when you look for friends, you distinctly look for people whose worldview is an anathema to decency? I am friends with zero Tories, and I would never date one - not even because I'd choose not to be, but as someone politically engaged I can tell you right now it would be fucking impossible. It's not a difference of opinion mate, it's an entire worldview. It's not that we all want the same things and disagree about how to get it, it's that one side want a stable and prosperous country in which all its people can share, and the other side want to siphon everything into their own pockets and those of their mates, while simultaneously letting themselves be weaponised against the nation by hostile foreign powers. There should be precisely zero Tories in a patriotic nation that cares about its people and puts the national interest first.

Not to be contrary but I know one who is a really lovely guy - but he was an orphan so perhaps avoided some of the cultural idiosyncrasies that he might otherwise have received from his parents.

Was more of a rant than a balanced assessment tbf but a rant generally borne out of Boomers telling me how worthless younger generations are. My dad is also a socialist btw - so I agree, it's a generalisation. Let's nuance it and just say we all know the specific people I'm referring to.

Just thinking that through by the way, I joined the workforce full time in 2008, right at the start of the credit crunch or whatever it was. Since about a year or two after that point, I've had the Tories hammering wages, growth and living standards - and now will have another two decades of falling prospects irrespective of who is in charge, thanks to this fucking political party. So that's 30 years of my working life that has been fucked by the Tories. 30 fucking years. Obviously I'm very aware that it's not just about me and this goes for everyone but the timing seems quite neat in my case. Just fuck all of them. And the boomers wonder why there's no hope for the future in younger generations. You burned the future to the ground you fuckers.

Have to say mind, the Daily Mail comment section is, dare I say it, starting to see the light. Lots of upvotes for the 'fuck Brexit' side. Still plenty of the gut feelers on the other side waxing lyrical about the nonsense that they think they voted for, but I've not seen the Mail quite so split on this at any point. Funny how all these people didn't care if others lost their jobs, if it made people's lives harder, until it started to affect them. Selfish fucking morons. I still remember after the 2019 vote when the BBC or whoever it was went around asking people what the values were that prompted them to vote in the way they did, and generation baby boomer was coming in with "I deserve this, I only care about me, I want I want I want, Me, Me, Me" and the 'snowflake' millennials/Zoomers were saying "we care about our communities and giving people a fair chance at life, I vote for what's good for society in general". Far better stock than their parents and grandparents (in the main). The thing that galls me more than anything is that the boomers will never process or confront that this colossal fuck up is on them, and that their extravagance, privilege and easy living for decades before was not 'earned'. They were just fucking lucky to live through a prosperous era.

People going with their gut. Fuck evidence.

I dunno about that, I think it would be a huge success story for the European project if a contrite UK returned to the fold. Also they do need to develop and grow their own strength in the face of a world increasingly dominated by bigger nations. I can see us returning, at least to the single market. We can blame much of this insanity on the Tories after all. The EU won't be blind to that.
-
I still wonder if there might be enough of a sea change between now and the election for Labour to soften on the EU.

Howe said he wants to win things as a manager to make up for his career as a player. He's gonna win fuck all at England. I do reckon he goes there one day but I doubt it's before he's taken us as far as he can.
-
Because they were more concerned with getting any deals whatsoever, than anything that was remotely beneficial to the country. Seriously, they are actually traitors to the nation.
-
Fucking Starmer That said, maybe we need to see Labour fail utterly to make Brexit work as well before we can write it off fully. Although my gut tells me that the Tories will claim they want another tilt at it as well, after Labour have 'ruined' it.

I think we'll be fine - our form has carried on both pre and post summer, and the reality I think is that if we're going to cement ourselves at the top end we need to just be a good team, rather than a team on a good run. I also think we've dropped off a bit in the last few games with the defence and even Bruno started to make misplays here and there. Still good enough to do what we need to, but perhaps tired? The break could well have come at a good time for us. It also carries us on into January which gives us the transfer window to make adjustments as we need to. Only downside to that is that Maddison's value will skyrocket if he has a good world cup and we may lose him to one of the few bigger teams still in the mix. I couldn't care less about the tournament itself although now that we have some players going I will probably follow the games out of my emotional investment in them more than anything else.

The truth is getting louder, the media more and more prepared to risk offending the toddlers.

The imagery of this is fucking spot on

Mind you, the incessant bitterness in that thread a joy to read Some of them desperately trying to convince themselves this is the same as that time we finished 5th under Pardew. Even Chelsea fans had more grace and class about today than this bunch of weapons.

When is that penny going to drop, I wonder?
-
Fuck off Chelsea. Well played by us even if we weren't at our best. The desperation now setting in amongst the established order as they can see this isn't just a purple patch. And btw, all the Chelsea fans chiming into the BBC about how negative Potter is - if they'd come up here playing free flowing stuff they'd have had their arses handed to them to the tune of 4 or 5. We aren't what we used to be, and neither are they. In future, if they come up here and get a single fucking point they've done well. This is the new order of things - bend the fuck over, Chelsea.
