You reckon? At least they had the spirit to get to 2-0. If they hadn't ballsed up the first leg they'd have been through comfortably. Imagine if we were in that position, needing a 3-0 win. We'd have lost 4-0.

Same for me. Checked the score yesterday but felt absolutely nothing. I'm sure we're not the only club this is happening to though - while Ashley is definitely the main catalyst here, the truth is that the league is now sown up by the superclubs anyway. It's not like it'd make any difference if Ashley actually was attempting to push us up the league. We'd probably win more games, we'd probably have a better brand of football...but what's the point if we're never actually going to get anywhere near winning anything. Sometimes I think it'd be better to support a team in the lower leagues as at least fans of those clubs are able to enjoy the highs.

It provided entertainment for a while at least. On another note: I was looking over at NO a few days back, and came across some pretty good threads in their gold section. One of them seemed to be that they had some html code that displayed each poster's facebook profile pic if they were logged into facebook while browsing the site. Kind of like how you can display people's IPs at them in signatures from time to time, but that they're only visible to that specific poster (but the poster wouldn't know this and assumes that everyone can see it). Some people then used these as their avatars, etc So each poster kicks off thinking that their privacy has been breached in some way and it honest to god looked like it was going to tear the community apart for a bit - death threats and legal action being thrown around everywhere. Quite possibly one of the best online pranks I've ever come across. I think they accompanied the introductory thread for this with a link to the pic with the text 'how gay is this picture?' and they had some people posting comments about how 'they were just posing like that cos their girlfriend told them to' etc, obviously not aware that no one else could see the picture. Not sure how well I explained that, but I'm guessing that a few of you will have been familiar with the thread. I understand that this is no longer possible though as facebook 'patched' the issue.

Fucking hell do I love forum politics CSD out, popular uprising against Ant, Ant kills it dead with his utter indifference, CT wades in to get a cheap dig away before disappearing off into the sunset, it's all here! I've been here for 2 years (didn't post in the first year otherwise it'd be 3) and there has always, always been someone like CSD who has wound people up. There'll be another one along soon enough.
