Was I imagining it or did Given not pass it straight to one of their players in the first half? Just suprised Taylor27 didn't jump on that like. Fwiw I think Given is a very good keeper, especially at stopping shots, but perhaps not quite as world class as some make out, which is why he hasn't gone to a bigger club imo. He is prone to errors in his distribution and in his positional judgement (iirc this was illustrated twice against Pompey). Also, he doesn't seem to be able to command the back 4 well - and this may be a real problem. Still, he has saved our bacon countless times recently and we will not easily get a superior replacement.

Was there one from HTL pertaining to be Freddie Shepherd? Must have been deleted. I thought it was quite funny personally.
-
Evidently. I just think people like him have a habit of fucking things up for themselves. 96315 The funniest thing about the whole campaign were his Biblical instructions, especially not to debate the matter with non-believers. Don't debate the next manager of the Toon on a NUFC message board. FFS! 96319 He really should have put that thread on a private forum - now that post was embarassing.
-
And his weekly bath. Shit: on Fridays only, I meant.
-
Yes, but increasingly he's getting the attention he craves and it's going to make him worse unfortunately.

It's really beginning to piss me off this campaign now. Fair enough, the Newcastle-online "editorial team" want Hitzfeld, but by reading some of their articles you would have though all the fans were unanimous on this point. Plus, despite what HTT might claim, many of the said articles have been actively dismissing other popular candidates, especially O'Neill, who apparently isn't good enough. FFS we should be delighted if we get O'Neill! Look what happened last time, we ended up with Souness, and we were in a better situation then, a much better one. I really don't think this campaign is helping Newcastle's cause at all now, not least because we'll look like a right bunch of saddos (collectively, because we will all be tarred with HTT's brush) when he turns us down.

But spammers like me, Alex, and Gemmill log off for our lunch!

how high? Are there any hills in Reading - always looks bloody flat to me?? 96205 750ft above sea level where I am. There's a big dip on the way down to Juntion 11 from my house. 96211 Are you sure about that? Seems very high to me - higher than most the area the Pennines is in, for instance.

96101 I may be further from understanding global warming than I had previously suspected... 96179 What's the mechanism? How is a big gorilla involved? Or just the worst metaphor/analogy ever?

No, like the others I just couldn't be bothered to read it. Pretty bad I know, but it is Friday. So when did you start accepting what NASA scientists say as the truth then Rob?
-
I'm guessing btw Anyway, the servers are in America, so it kicks off their time, rather than ours. Craig will know the proper answer, but mine sounded about right 96148 What's wong with a good old fashioned British server? Tsskkk. No wonder this board's going to the dogs.
-
Rather than come whining to us laymen, NASA should be inventing an ice gun to refreeze the ice caps? Lazy. 96145 Aye
-
Too late; die regardless ????
-
Without bothering to read that is it safe to say it's pretty speculative and not necessarily the opinion of most scientists.

Do you presently live in a pineapple like? 96104 My half brother squarepants does 96113 There you go!
-
Do you presently live in a pineapple like? 96104 Spongebob Squarepants does. Get with the fucking program 96107 Yes I know. So either Spongebob is really like his username and already lives in a pineapple under the sea, or he is not infact really Spongebob but lives in a pineapple 200m up the beach from the sea, which will be under the sea when it rises. Or something. Wibble.

Are you of this opinion cos they once fined you? I'm in it for the fast-track opportunities to be a train driver where the real money is. The perks will come in handy, free train travel all over Europe for all the family. Conductors start on 18k but drivers are on double. 96043 Aye, fined me over £200 for being 5 minutes late! I hope if you get the job you will be a decent honest conductor and accept bribes. I always wanted to be a train driver, can't see it happening now. 96048 He was only doing his job, it wasn't his fault you were late was it? 96050 I'm still awaiting the outcome actually. I told them to fuck off over the full fine (in a polite way) and said we could come to an agreement or meet in court. They haven't written back since before christmas, I'm hoping their accountants are as incompetent as their rail staff.

By when o learned one. 96040 Rob's immortal so he has a different perception of time to the rest of us. I'm guessing we needn't worry too much.
-
Train conductors are complete tossers actually - well GNER ones are anyway. What's the pay like, or are you in it ofr the perks?
-
I haven't got a clue which is which like. But I have heard Tweedy likes it up the arse. Can I say such hearsay (from the mouths of thousands of football fans) without getting the site closed down?

It's about £15 for a breakfast in the Marriott though. It's the same with all decent hotel chains, they charge mental prices for breakfast because they know most guests will just eat there regardless. A proper cooked breakfast every now and then is class though. I'm on the bagels with salmon and cream cheese at the mo - sooooooo continental. 95989 I usually go B&B on some type of special offer which works out well, using loyalty points and that. Best full English I had was at the Glasgow Marriott - they had 4 types of sausage! Felt like a pig afterwards. The funny thing was there was a Rab C Nesbitt lookalike and his scumbag family there - the fucker even had a string vest on. They were stereotypical neds like - the shell-suited zombie wife nicked all the cereal individual cartons, and he was really nasty to the waitress, ordering a vodka and orange at 9 in the morning. Worst thing was I overheard they were put up there by the council for some reason - another best of British quirk I guess.

That looks like one of those crappy breakfasts you get at one of the cheap shitty hotels (Travel Inn or something, I forget). One of everything - they even count the beans. I prefer the breakfasts you get in a decent hotel (like the Marriot chain) or in a proper greasy spoon - [souness] proper [\Souness] portions!
