It's because its daan sarf. Wouldn't get the same coverage here, I'm sure.

That perfectly describes Souness, you contrary twat! I don't like Wenger's after match comments, but then I don't like most managers. However, I totally respect what he has done as a manager. Arsenal can play some breath-taking football at times, almost reminiscent of Keegan's finest team. OK, they are a bit shit at the moment, but they will be back under Wenger. And unlike Ferguson or Mourinho, he's done it without breaking the bank.

Bit depressing that "Feed the scousers" and "Sunderland [City] are a massive club" are both songs plagiarised from ManU. For West Ham, I still like "He's only a poor little hammer, his clothes are all tattered and torn,......"

I have to say, I'm confused as to what you're saying. That match report from the BBC perfectly reflected the match as I saw it (I haven't seen the highlights yet btw). The bit you bolded was Wenger's observation - so what? Do you think the BBC should censor him? Actually, that's an idea, as long as they censor Souness and his cronies too. Incidentally, who took the post match interview for us today (honestly don't know).

Agreed, I just can't see us as a top 4 team with the way Souness sets up the team, I'm sure his Blackburn tactics were massively different. I'll say one thing though, I thought the players had stopped playing for him, I was wrong. 66572 Probably one of the first times I have seen us under Souness come out in the second half fighting better than the first. But hold your horses (re: losing players) - this was only one result - remember what we were like against Wigan some 10 days ago. Arsenal are not the force they were - they are getting beat by virtually everyone away from home. I thought this would be a 1-0 victory for them, but as soon as I saw Henry pissing his chances away being a fancy Dan in the first half, I knew we had a good chance of an upset. But an upset it is, and that says it all. No evidence we have turned the corner imo. Still, really nice to enjoy a match once in a while!

I hope you're not joking (well, in a way I hope they are, but still). They mean cancer. There's clearly something not right so just see a doctor - really, what are you worried about? It might also be a variocele btw. 66339 I had issues with my right ball about 2 months ago. It was ultra sensitive and when you slightly knocked it ....it was VERY painful. Also started thinking there was a lump in there somewhere. So, I got it checked out. All clear. Luckily paranoid. 66342 Were you holding your groin a lot? -

It's been going on for about a month now. It only seems to be in my left knacker. And there are STI's to report. From this info can you make a revised diagnosis? Not sure if i want my doc to rumage around my cream crackers like, he's got dirty coloured hands! 66327 It sounds like you've twisted it, like it's a mechanical problem. If you're not kiddding, my advice is to seek URGENT help or phone NHS direct. If your blood supply is cut off, you could get gangrene and need it removed. Seriously. -
It matters not, the quality of posting. The frequency is the thing that is important. Even if it's just one line, we remain 'in contact' and familiar enough to take seriously when the serious post comes. Not everyone can post continuous quality like I do Nurse, another swab for Jimbo please 66316 Three posts of 1000 you are, as I type. Spamtastic!

Odd, I can't think what it could be really, the only thing I can think of is you've twisted your "tubes", or you have an ascending STI. Obviously an internet message board is not the best place to get diagnosed, even by those of us who are medically qualified, you should really see a doctor. Some questions you will be asked: How longs this been going on for? Does it happen in both testicles? Could you have picked up an STI recently? If you're too shy to see your GP, give NHS Direct a ring, they'll tell you what to do. -
Actually, I'm getting concerned by my frequency of posting, as well as it's quality. Getting very spam like. Like this one.

0-1, Henry to break through eventually.

I made that suggestion about 15 minutes ago (and about 4 pages back) but it got swamped by HTL's multiple postings. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool & Man Utd all have Chief Execs running the club detatched from the chairman. I think we need the same! 66297 Yes, but your bold formatting didn't work, so I ignored it.
-
Again I agree with LP here, pretty much sums up what I think and put across very well I thought. I would add though that I believe he has the ambition, but his own personal greed and lack of ability will put pay to that. A chief exec might be the answer we need - someone who can run the club professionally.

Actually, I think I have read it. Diiirty, diiiirty women.

Do tell..... Ever read the joy of sex? Apparently sex with armpits comes highly recommended....

I love reading them. The stories are great, apparently the ladies love a man who can accidentally drop a towel. 66272 All women have lesbian fantasies too. FACT! 66276 Oh. It was literal, I see.

Is that actually reading, or just looking (probably squinting now). 66214 no, just wanking. 66224 The birds in Razzle are a bit rough imo. Prefer some of the classier Paul Raymond publcations tbh. 66238 Does anyone read porn mags anymore what with the internet? 66240 Never thought anyone actually read them per se. 66267 Ahem. They have very good articles on cars and stuff.

Thanks Alex. At least you're big enough ( unlike the others ) to admit that you really can't slag FS for appointing managers you yourself thought at the time were good decisions. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but it should never be used to call people c**ts and other stupid comments. 66249 For the record I was very happy with Daglish and Robson, opposed to Gullit, and bitterly against Souness from the start. Souness's appointment in particular was never justifiable imo. 66252 So if you were ok with a couple of the appointments but not with a couple of others why are you so much against a Chairman who then backs these managers so well? 66258 I'm against the fact he pays out huge dividends despite us under-achieving, which are almost solely for his and the Halls benefit. I'm against the timing of his sackings, and against his stupid comments made in both private and public. I agree he does have some good qualities, the main one being ambition, but is this enough? Apparently not.
-
who says it's his own money ? See the point about other clubs being run nowhere near as well as ours, transfer wise. yes and no. It is his job, it's also his job to look after the finance of the club. The only manager he has appointed who the masses were against, at the time, is Souness. The vast majority were happy with Dalglish and Gullit. The only propaganda being peddled so far as I can see is by those who simply change their mind rather than admit they got it just as wrong as Shepherd. You can't say he is a c**t for appointing a manager that you were happy with him for appointing. And - he ISN'T the one who makes these final decisions anyway, beccause he ISN'T the majority shareholder, the chairman of such a company only carries out the decision of the board as a whole. 66200 Never wanted Souness, actually never met anyone who did, the only person i've ever even heard of who wanted Souness was Freddie Shepherd, the chairman you back and therefore, according to your own criteria, you back all his decisions, including the hiring and continuing employment of Souness. As an after thought, can you actually find any quotes from anyone poster on here who wanted Souness as manager? 66255 Well, this forum isn't old enough to dredge up quotes from over a year ago, but I believe Gemmill was certainly happy with the appointment at the time.

And another thing, have you noticed how ripped out pages of porn mags found randomly in the street have gone the way of white dog poo?
