Does that one mistake mean that they should be forever chastised? That they deserve no sympathy even when they die? One thing that confuses me is how he continued drinking if he was taking antabuse. From what I understand, you only have to take this tablet once a day and then it becomes almost impossible to drink. So he must have avoided taking the tablets, which requires a lot of premeditation.

The FACT! is, I don't think one person can argue with that statement. That being the case, Souness' time must surely end now? What is the point in keeping him on; so he can spend another astronomical amount on a player in Jan of the ilk of J.A.B that wont take the club another inch forward??? I then focussed on research, getting a degree and PhD in pharmacology. I now advise GPs on what drugs they should use amongst other things - basically evidence-based medicine, if you ever get interested in that I'd be happy to give you some pointers in it. The Maths (i.e. statistics) came in useful in the end.

I did maths and Chemistry in my First year and despised every second of chemistry. It requires you to apply good sense rather than straightforward logic. What is the accepted career path for someone with a maths degree btw? Having said that, I think a good degree in maths will open up many doors, unlike Star Wars studies.
