This is what I got letting the computer decide. Fourth spot, 9 points clear. We'll finish above ManU though I reckon, but i'll settle for this.

Villa and Brentford will get something from them at home, I can see a draw at Old Trafford too. And Leicester will be desperate away from home. Put it another way, would all these people who think they are dead certs to win these games have the same confidence in us? Who's the better team currently? Go on then, I'll say it. These doubters are TRAITORS. Enemies of the club. They should be ashamed and lightly chastised.

I only really carte about us winning (I think we are on 15 minutes earlier?). If we do, then a draw or SPurs winning would be fine. If we don't., I might give up hope of third a bit and prefer spurs to be beat.

I'm fully with you when it comes to winning things. We could be 7 nil up in an FA cup final with 10 minutes to go and I'd be bricking it. Seriously, to the extent I can't really enjoy it. But we've been here before in my lifetime. We have qualified for the CL 3 times, and Europe countless times. It's not a biggie. So at this stage my intellect overcomes my irrationality and I see things as the bookies do. We are odds on to qualify for the CL, in third place imo.

Bruno, aye. I seem to remember we survived okay without Trippier for half of last season theugh?

Mini-revival? This month so far they have been spanked by Man City, failed to beat Arsenal or Chelsea(!), had narrow wins over Forest and West Ham, and admittedly spanked Leeds. The one thing is that they are inconsistent. ANd when have they pipped us to anything? You'd need to go back nearly 20 years. Anyway, we're all agreed it's in our hands so these arguments are academic.

2.06 after 18 games. What prize do I win?

So Liverpool are going to go on an unbeaten run and also overturn our goals difference? I mean it could happen, but it's not very likely is it? And why stop at Liverpool? Let's come up with some other mathematically insane scenarios based on nothing shall we? Liverpool this year are a shadow of their former selves. They're playing teams away from home fighting for their lives, exactly the type of games they tend to lose.

Even Liverpool are going to struggle to get 19 points out of the 18 available to them man. Jesus, this board.

Brighton losing badly. Shares in Tena men drop slightly. Still demand side supply problems in Boldon, Tyne and Wear.

Flew a bit under the radar but a few weeks ago a tory minister (so you know, actually in government) said the council elections could be a good "test run", as if local elections don't even matter. Interestingly, I have heard spme analysis saying theis attempt at voter supression by the tories might backfire. ALthough they've fixed it so older people have more forms of ID available to them (an OAP bus pass counts but a student rail card doesn't), they are also more likely to forget to take ID out with them.
